Trident Organic Edamame Noodles

The while family, teenagers included, thought these were great.

Disgusting, tasted terrible, smelt terrible and had a gritty texture.

If this is what eating healthy is, you can forget it. I will stick to my meat any day. Terrible smell while cooking and a horrible taste in the mouth. Disgusting. 3 minute cooking time is the only bonuse.

Texture was a little strange to start with but I liked the slightly "snowpea" flavour. I had them under a chicken and vege stir-fry and they were great. Keen to try them in a soup. Liked how quick they were to prepare

This wasn’t our cup of tea but our friend who is GF, DF etc loved them. We didn’t like the texture or flavour.

I made this into a noodle bowl when cooked and added broth, chicken and veges, turned out really well, they do need some strong flavour to them, loved they are low-carb,

Swapped these out for regular pasta in a chicken bolognaise - they were perfect. Didn’t overpower rest of food. Easy to and super quick to cook

Cook well, need to be careful dont over power flavor of other ingredients

I liked them, enjoyed the taste, although following the instructions, the noodles were cold, and putting hot food on the top wasn't enough to reheat them through again. Next time, I won't rinse with cold water, as it meant the whole meal was cold before it got to the table.

These are sooo yummy... Would recommend them over other noodles.

I give a 3 because they actually gave a good time/cooking instructions in the back, do not cook the noodles directly into the broth (of what ever you might be cooking) as the noodles (bitter) flavouring leeks into the broth therefore altering the final taste of your meal. If you strictly follow the instructions where it says boil in water for specified time and cool in water, then add to your final cooking it is much much much better. I experimented by cooking half of the noodles by directly adding into the chicken broth soup for lunch, and the other half as cooked noodles on its own and later garnished with toppings and a clear broth soup to warm the noodles back up. Overall happy to buy this when hosting for parties with friends who have special meal requirements.

I usually like this type of thing but the texture was very strange and made me think I was cooking them wrong. Taste was “meh”, definitely needed to be added into something.

Loved these noodles used them in a few dishes added them to chicken soup.

I never got these in a black box but purchased out of curiosity...they are actually quite nice, I did add a smidgen of salt to them though

Good quantity and quality. I also found the texture a bit different to the brand I normally use. But would try a different flavour and see if that appeals more

i liked these, but teenage daughter did not, was the texture she did not like, but a much healthier option to have

Perfect timing getting these as I had seen another brand advertising & was going to try. Loved another option to the much higher carb noodles available

Not the best flavour, but would probably tolerate these again as I'm on Weight Watchers, and these are lower in calories than normal noodles/pasta. Also an OK alternative when gluten free family members come over. As someone else mentioned, these are tolerable with lots of flavouring on them to mask the bland taste.

Easy to cook, but didn't really like the flavour had to add heaps of chilli sauce.

Brought these ones to try as we got the black bean ones in our black box great when you have a person who is intolerant to gluten in the family so this was a hit with some 5 spiced pork and stirfry veges highly recommended just watch you don't overcook the noodles they cook very fast

We loved these. Taste and texture great (I sometimes think noodles can be a bit slimey) the high protein content was really good for me as I have had bariatric surgery, so a real find!

These noodles were a real win for my family. They were quick and easy to cook, I added them to a beef stir fry. I love the fact they are super healthy and low in salt. Can’t wait to try the black bean noodles.
