Taylor Farms Stir Fry Kit – Pad Thai

Very quick and tasty dinner!

Very nice but not enough sauce, maybe I am just a bit greedy.

Love this, we buy it a lot, already had the same packet in my fridge.

I purchase the Taylor salad range on a regular basis since been introduced to it in one of my previous black boxes. I enjoyed the choice of veggies, cooked up perfectly, however, was not too keen on the Pad Thai sauce flavour though. Will see if i can find other flavours in the range on the shelf to try.

I didn't like the flavour

I am not a fan of Broccoli but my partner enjoyed the product pretty much.

The vegetables lasted well in the sealed bag, remaining fresh for a couple of weeks. The flavour, although good, didn't have enough in the sachet once protein and carbohydrates were added to the dish. Loved how quick this was to make as a meal.

Convenient. Nice flavour sachet.

I dont like just salad, this is good to add to separately cooked rice or noodles to make this worthwhile.

It was convenient, however would have liked a little more sauce.

Super fast to prepare and went great on rice! Dinner in just a few minutes!

Quality ingredients and good flavour. Bag too small, about two portions. Expense and not worth purchasing even for a last minute meal. Its just as quick and easy to make from scratch.

Great concept, but vege were a bit dry. Sauce was uninspired, and not enough. Maybe in a family sized version, with noodles or protien options.

Nice and handy to use and keep on hand, even managed to get my 19 year old son making himself a decent meal in my absence.

When I got my pack the veges looked a bit dull but cooked up they tasted yum with the sauce, I'd probably buy my own veges to make bigger portions for a family but good for a couple and convenient

I guess if you really want an easy life this is good. I prefer to cut my own veges and to decide the amount of veges I want. This only fed me and I am sure it is supposed to feed 2-3 people

Liked the idea of this better than I liked the product. The vegetables were a bit boring and didn't look the best (although they were still within the Best Before date). I would try again - different flavour - at the right price.

Veges were quite different sizes. Some very chunky pieces that were still very crunchy after cooking. Some veges looked very old and unappetising. We ate on 19/4. Best before was 24/4. I doubt it would have looked very nice by then. Serving size on back of pack said 3.5 servings. Is that people or 3.5 servings of your daily vegetable count? Definitely wouldn’t serve 3.5 people! Flavour was o.k, but didn’t taste like Pad Thai. Pad Thai is one of my favourite meals, but unfortunately this was very underwhelming. I wanted to like this but sadly I would not buy again.

The consistency of the vegetables was not very good. There was a lot of leafy greens but only one snow pea in the bag. The sauce was bland.

Love the sauce flavour but vegetable seems not too fresh

Absolutely loved it wasn't sure to start with but OMG made it So so easy I added a bit beef to the side with a little bit of white rice and the family loved it. Highly recommend it.

Wow! That was quick! Lunch served in a couple of minutes. Vegetables were fresh and the pad thai sauce actually really yum. Would buy this one again for busy week night meals.

I took this for lunch and found it to be a perfect size, easy to whip up and great taste! I would definitely consider purchasing again!

I don't usually buy stir fry kits - and I probably wouldn't buy this one. Not an authentic pad thai flavour/crunch and definitely not enough in this kit to feed a family.

My partner is Thai and she said it was ok.

I did not enjoy this. The vegetables were dried out and the sauce packet was not tasty, almost inedible. I would not purchase this or any similar product again.

I felt that having the veges ready chopped up into good sized pieces is very handy and a time saver, I don't agree with the inclusion of Kale because it's bitter flavour doesn't compliment the rest of the pad thai. The sauce is not authentic unfortunately and for the price you pay, I feel it isn't worth it as after cooked the amount is only enough for one person.

The sauce is alright-ish, a bit lack of umami taste so I had to add my own seasoning. The cut of vegetables was terrible. Cabbage was all stalky which is not the yummiest part. Not to mention carrot was too thick for stirfry, which makes it take quite long to cook and absorb the sauce, pair with leafy green and thinly cut broccoli, long cooking time make the other vegetables too soft. Overall, I would rather prepare my own vegetables for stirfry. If I have no time to prep meal then I cook something else. 3 star because the sauce wasn't too bad.

Good idea, but I would like to offer a suggestion, package the leafy bits separate. The cooking instructions overcook the leafy vege, and pulling it all of the heat prior to time on cooking instructions to avoid overcooking, the other vege was undercooked and still cold. Leafy vege should be folded in after other vege is thoroughly cooked/heated, and much less time on heat. We did not really enjoy this product, and would not consider buying it at this point.

I found this to be very easy, just chuck it in your fry pan and a way you go, no prepping which made it for a faster cooking experience and more time with the loved ones! Something I will be sure to get from now on, easy and quick was the first time seeing these!

Ok... not a broccoli fan

Quick and easy stir fry. I added more vegetables as there was not enough for my liking. Some of the veges were a bit on the yellow side. The sauce was quite mild.

This was delicious with chicken and rice. so quick and easy to cook. Would certainly purchase in future.

A very nice stir fry and the pad thai flavour was lovely. Quick and easy to make and I just added chicken to it to give it the protein. I would of prefered some of the vegetables to not be so chunky.

This product is supposed to have 3.5 servings, but it was not enough even for 2 people. The sauce was plenty, and the taste was not too bad, but it lacks depth.

Fail! Very were roughly chopped and had big chucks of carrot etc. Did not have some of the veges as described. Sauce was way too sweet.

I don't typically like packaged products like this. They don't stay fresh long and I find them quite boring. Also there always seems to be the most of what you don't want as the mai ingredient.

I had not heard of this product before getting the Black Box but i was very surprised once i tried it. Cooking with fresh vegetables is a good experience and this product allows you to have a variety of fresh vegetables without having to pay for them all individually. the sauce with this product was also great and wasn't too intense but complemented the vegetables nicely,

So easy to whip up meal was done in minutes very tasty and you can add meat if you wan t or eat as is.

Good idea, but veggies were terribly distributed - 1 snow pea in the whole packet! Sauce wasn't enough/strong enough. Serving suggestion wasn't right for Pad Thai (should have rice noodles, crushed peanuts sprinkled on top and lemon wedges). Was just enough for 2 adults with the addition of rice and chicken

The sauce had a nice flavour but some of the carrot was too chunky and I had to chop it before cooking. Serving size was ok for 2 adults with small appetites.

We thought this pack was great. Needed a bit more sauce and we liked the flavour. Great for a quick easy meal.

Did not enjoy this. Some of the vege had spoilt, which I threw out and replace with other fresh vege. With a stir fry like pad thai, there is norm noodles. Also it was not a pad thai sauce to me - not nutty at all or any spice.

Had this last night for dinner and did it with some cooked Schnapper - it was truly delicious and so convenient. Would definitely buy this product again, could be used in a manner of ways.

Excellent for a quick and easy stir fry. Wasn’t really what I call pad Thai style or flavoured and the vege in our pack were huge... Needed to cut most of the vege again in half if not quarters, otherwise cooking time would be highly different.

The veges were fine, if a little uneven and large in cut size. The packet said 3.5 portions per pack - it only fed one! And barely that. I admit I am a big vege eater but it cooked down a lot. The sauce was OK but not really Pad Thai in flavour. Probably if I were going to buy again, I would just want to be able to buy the sauce flavours and use my own vege (in whatever amount I choose).

Product is branded as "Pad Thai" but neither the vegetable selection or sauce are even remotely close to traditional pad thai flavors. I would say they're more like commercial Chinese take out flavors. Also, the vegetables had dried out a lot in the pack and were not cut evenly which meant cooking times varied significantly.

Good portion and cut size of vegetables.. sauce ratio is also reasonable with a fresh taste of pad Thai (not too sweet! Which I like)
