Hill’s™ Science Diet Dry Puppy Food™

Currently feed my puppy Black Hawk pet food. After trying the Hills Science Diet she will now no longer eat the Black Hawk. :-) Much prefers the Hills Science Diet.

Digby was a huge fan. Initially mixed with Blackhawk. He prefers hills!

Dog really enjoyed it

Dogs & cat liked the biscuits but they're way too expensive for my budget

Enjoy by our baby Mia...she lapped it up and we noticed a slight change in her coat which is exciting! Going to continue with this food and see how good it gets!

Gave our dog gas in a big way

Good but far cheaper brands available at farm stores that are just as good for my animals and more affordable.

Have heard a lot of problems with Hills pet food (animals dying) so was not prepared to take the risk by letting my pups even try it.

I buy this for my puppy all the time

I currently have a young German Shepherd puppy and he didn’t change well to this brand, he wouldn’t eat the kibble and when he did he started vomiting it back up so wouldn’t recommend this feed at all

I did notice a change in my dog's coat, she seemed alot more energised too

I have a very fussy puppy. She really liked the Hills food. Which I was surprised about because she tends to like cheap food which is unhealthy.

I have already been usuing this product and was stoked to recieve a sample as it is very expensive to buy also recieving the vouchers was also great . I have not been detered from feeding this product as there has been a bit of negative reviews latey on FB sites i personally find it great my puppy thrieves on it the only negative is it is out of alot of people's price range - its not even cheaper to purchase on line

I have been giving my puppy small amounts he loves it, but is meant to be on allergy biscuits with no chicken or beef products. I like the Velcro seal too

I have one puppy that is fussy with their food, but they loved the hill's science product

I have seen warnings about Hills foods relating to animal deaths so I’m sorry have not wanted to risk giving my puppy this food. Too concerned. Will do further research

I have used this product for about 5years for my older dog and now using with our new addition to the family

I heard negative press about hills biscuits killing dogs so am a little sceptical about the brand and will do further research before buying

I know it is a quality product but it is super expensive and therefore not suitable for us

I love this the price is just a bit too high but will definitely use voucher

I think it must have had high salt content as my dog drunk alot of water after but it did really enjoy the biscuits

If he likes it and the price is right I'll get it for him

It is important to us to have a low or grain free food for our puppy

It is what the vet recomended so I want whats best for our fur baby so will go with what they suggest, especially since the quality of food is the most important thing.

loved this product, we have a 8 week old puppy and he loves the biscuits, they are small enough for him to eat and he likes them, love the velcro seal on the bag too! what a great idea

Made my pet VERY sick causing extreme vomiting was not happy with this product

My puppy loved it very much. He is very picky, refuse most of the food, is a nightmare. Fantastic ingredients and if the price is right I will buy. But I’m half way of the bag and my baby already refuse it. I need to change the dry food every two weeks otherwise he just leave it in the bowl.

My puppy was not enjoying my supermarket dry food I was buying when I mixed this with it she loved it and has not committed up the food I will now switch to this product even tho it’s a lot more expensive

My two dogs didnt really like it. I had to mix it with the Purina for them to consume it

Not using this as there is currently huge controversy around Hill’s not checking the sources of their ingredients and pets are becoming sick or dying from eating Hill’s pet food. I would hate to think Black Bix knee of this and promoted the products anyway. As a consumer I want to be able to trust that Black Box are only promoting products that are trustworthy.

Ouppy loved flavor but it made her sick, her stools were white and chalky and she acted unwell. After stopping she came right. I then read a few articles about this brand causimg death and illnessesin other animals.

Our 10 month old Rotty was not eating her food and then we gave her this. She LOVED it so much that we had to go buy more. Her poo has definitely improved too!

Our dog is fussy, but loved these. never any left in the bowl unlike other brands.

Our dog LOVED these biscuits, we have only ever fed him blackhawk and yet he was in love with these and ate them eagerly. We had not thought of changing brands as were nervous incase he didnt like however will now move accross to the Hills science now that we know he likes it

Our puppy was on hills when we got her and got given heaps of vouchers from puppy class for his food so continued to buy it but she is off it now as it made her poo smell terrible a d made her fat, dont like that it contains grains either, noticed a huge difference changing to nutro

Pups was okay with it, prefers wet food though. We only adopted him and his kitten brother 4 weeks ago. Kitten has a bag of this, pups preferred kittens bag to his own lol!!!!

Seems to tick all the boxes for the puppy and he eats it all up unlike the ekunuba brand we had before so hills it willbe

TBH I don't think my dog cares - he eats so fast it just goes down really quickly. He is far more interested in tough chews that last longer than a few minutes.

The dogs loved it so much they started refusing their old food! One of them recently started getting hot spots again but I don't think that's as a result of the food.

The most important thing I look for in animal food is that they eat it. My dogs lost interest in this after a short time and now it's just sitting in their food bowl not getting eaten. They ALWAYS love chicken necks.

This brand has bad publisidy at the moment with puppies being killed with what they have eaten, too much vtamin D in this brand

This cane at the right time as my dogs were turning away from their current food and these biscuits worked a treat

This product has killed dogs and is on a volenteree recall.

This product is really good, I know this and our vet recommends this brand. But all our dogs historically have done so well with Royal Canin so we are very very loyal to this brand

This product is very expensive and obviously if i were in a position to i would however the price range does not quite fit into the budget.

This was terrible, way too strong for my little dog, she has had diarrhea for 3 days and it still hasn't stopped

To be honest, I find the premium foods too expensive and it's easier and cheap just to buy from the supermarket. I would consider them if on special they were an equivalent price however.

Trustworthy brand

Unfortunately our puppy did not like it.

We found that Hills agrees with our dogs the most. Black Hawk gave them loose stools and lots of wind

We had an unfortunately experience with biscuits for our animals and now we are just about weening our girls off them. We are returning to a wet diet, with some biscuits as treats only.

We have a fussy dog but he loved it

We have been trying a few different brands of dog food recently since we got our puppy and he’s actually excited to eat this brand. He gobbles it up straight away rather than waiting. It will be inconvenient if I can’t purchase at my local supermarket but if there is a stockist near us that won’t be too bad.

We have been trying to encourage our fussy dog to eat more dry food and these seemed to do the trick.

We raw feed but used this as treats only - puppy liked them - she’s a Labrador - but wasn’t fed as full meals

We were already using this product and was amazing to get a dog food that our puppy was able put on weight and keep it there. She was under weight before we started this brand

While a great product the high price is very off putting, as much as we would like to get premium quality pet food the general cost of living is just too high for a young family

Would love to carry on with hills science diet, but it’s too expensive
