Dairyworks Garlic & Sea Salt Finishing Butter

I got the chipotle and sea salt finishing butter in my chilled Black Box. So delicious for finishing on our steaks and will be buying it in future.

Great innovative flavour to add a special touch to your snack or meal.

The garlic one is good but the chipotle one is amazing. I've been keeping an eye out at my supermarket for it.

I haven't had it in the black box but I have purchased it and it's excellent if your cooking steak or need to quickly make a garlic bread with bread rolls

I used this on some homemade fries, as well as on steaks and hot roast veges. Mild flavour - might be nicer if it was a bit stronger.

I used it to butter my toast to go with seafood chowder and it just added extra flavour to my meal. I stirred it through a mushroom risotto last night and it was delicious. Excellent price at Fresh Choice.

Love this butter, we used it on loads of things - melted it over corn on the cob on the bbq, had it on boiled new pototates, put it on pizza bases with mozzarella cheese to make cheesy garlic bread - so YUM.

A great, flavourful finishing butter - I used half in a herb mash for one meal, and the other half on some steaks for another meal, and it worked really well. It also helps that it's available at my local Countdown, unlike a lot of other similar products.

Nice idea, a good edition to freshly baked bread, new potatoes, or broccolini. Easier to add this butter than to add all the ingredients separately. The only downside is it's not as versatile as standard butter due to the ingredients list (e.g. you wouldn't use it in baking).

I was excited to try this product as I love garlic. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this finishing butter at all. The garlic part was perfect, great amount without been overpowering and was easy to spread hence the 2 stars. The let down was the amount of salt tasting, it was extremely salty and almost took away the garlic flavouring. In the end I was unable to finish eating my garlic bread due to the excessive salt taste. Would recommend reducing the salt or bring out a reduced salt finishing butter. I wouldn't buy or recommend.

For added garlic flavor you can always grate some additional garlic to your dish but for adding to steak, pasta and fish I can't recommend this enough as a staple to keep in the fridge.

A revelation! Loved adding it to steamed veggies and cooking our omelette with this butter for added flavour. Only downside is that it is quite chunky so you have to use a lot of it. That makes it expensive. But I liked the package size as I would not use it all the time so a smaller quantity would not go off before it was all used up

Nice taste, easy and convenient

Flavours are amazing, perfect combination for baked green veggies and potatoes. My family loved it, that I bought the lemon & peppercorn flavour this morning.
