Amazing taste, natural ingredients, bit worried about scouring enamal off teeth so wouldn't buy.

I absolutely love this product - was sceptical but it does what it says it does and has a great flavour.

I absolutely loved this toothpaste! It definitely left my teeth looking whiter. I loved the taste as it wasn't too strong, but still left your mouth feeling fresh. And I loved that it makes cleaning your teeth a little bit more interesting, so you want to clean them better. I just love this product.

I actually liked this product, but at that price I’m not sure it would be something I used often.

I am enjoying using this product, not sure if I want to pay nearly $12 for a tube though... I’ll see what the results are at the end of the tube and that will help my decision.

I definitely saw some results, but it was very unpleasant to brush with, and as you had to thoroughly rinse after I was concerned about the effectiveness of it as a toothpaste, I wouldn't be bothered with brushing my teeth with this for the whitening effect and then other toothpaste for a protective effect.

I did enjoy this toothpaste, although i find you have to use alot of it and since its a higher price its hard to justify having to use more for the price.

I did like the taste and the packaging but it felt wrong to brush with a black toothpaste. it would take some getting used to. The tube felt like a tube of lotion. I would have to see long term if this really did make a difference to the whiteness of my teeth but somehow I feel it would be subtle and therefore wouldn't buy it.

I did see slight results, but it took a little while. I drink a lot of dark coffee though. I think ongoing use would be good. I started backing it up with a bit of a coconut oil pool and think that this would give good results. I tried the Colgate(?)charcoal toothpaste and it did nothing at all, so I’m happier with blaq.

I didn't find that the toothpaste did anything for my teeth in terms of whitening and I also didn't like that it wasn't soapy. This could be a personally preference but I do like my toothpaste to go all soapy, this product didn't do that at all so I didn't feel like my teeth were clean.

I do not use whitening products. Instead I purchase whatever main brand of toothpaste that is on sale at the time. I did however give the Black to a friend who uses whiteners and they commented they were happy with the product but I could not personally assess it.

I don’t lik that is has no floride. The flavour wasn’t great. And I disliked the grainy texture in my mouth.

I don’t understand the trend for charcoal products. I tried the toothpaste and didn’t think it cleaned my teeth very well - found that tartar buildup started and didn’t feel clean after using it. Maybe slightly whiter but not sure.

I dont like the price but I love the product, it is really nice, gentle and I will probably buy it when we run out

I don't trust 'natural' brands for toothpaste - I only use dentist approved brands.

I expected it to be gritty and taste awful but it wasn't either of those things. It felt nice in your mouth and tasted great and left your mouth with a nice fresh taste and your teeth feeling lovely and shiny and clean and whiter.

I feel that it is too early to really comment, however I have started to notice my teeth are whiter. I will see if the results carry on. Taste is nice and I like that it is a natural product

I have been using the product for 2 weeks now and I can already see a difference. It is a very unusual product, but surprisingly I enjoyed the taste. The only thing I am left wondering is the health benefits for my teeth. For example, with my current product it states how it fights tartare and plaque build up etc and the packaging for this product didn't tell me any of that information. So while I am liking the results so far I am wondering how healthy it is for my teeth?

I have very sensitive teeth and so I need to use Sensodyne. I buy Colgate for my family because they like it. I did try the Blaq, ----- but did not use it all the time. My family were reluctant to use it, ---- because it was BLACK ! They could not get their heads around using black toothpaste. They did try it, ---- but not much. I don't think that we gave this product a good enough trial to be able to say that it DID whiten our teeth. Sorry.

The tootpaste taste is nice without being over powering, and while I'm not convinced of it's whitening powers, it does feel less 'chemical'. And it looks awesome in the bathroom too. Love it!! I loved the toothpaste and having used a variety of charcoal powder before I enjoyed the tidiness of using a paste. The taste was very nice. The tube design is very good although the closing of the tube lid is hard to click shut. I like that the tube holds its shape. There is no information on the tube as to whether it is appropriate to use for children.

I thought the whole experience was unpleasant. No flavour, no foam and didn't like the black all over the handbasin.

I used it every day morning and night and saw no results, the mint is also a bit intense with all the other flavours in there

I was hoping for great things. I didn't notice a difference tti the color of my teeth, and this would need to be visible for me to continue to buy for all the effort and mess of trying to feel like you had cleaned your teeth. Unfortunately, I often felt I had to rebrush with another toothpaste as I did not feel like I had fresh breath after using it. I think the flavor needs to be more intense mint/ lemon.

I was super impressed with the overall experience of this toothpaste. The flavour was really good and the charcoal was a very gentle whitener. I have used the powder in anoth brand before and with my sensitive teeth it was too harch but this doesn't hurt my teeth at all. I will totally buy this again!

I was very keen to try a charcoal based toothpaste but just felt it's not my cup of tea, can't get my head around looking a the black colour on my teeth while brushing.

I wasn't really a fan of the flavour but it did work well.

I would be interested in carrying on with this product to see if it improves the discolouration of my teeth. Price point would need to be much more family/ budget friendly though. No foaming so we used a little regular toothpaste with it. Without foaming action did not feel like I had a whole mouth thorough clean.

I would never recommend this - there is no science to show it works and it should contain Fluoride

I’ve always wanted to try a charcoal based oral product, I was really happy with the results! Plus it makes getting my kids to brush their teeth a lot easier as they think it’s exciting that it’s black!

If you wanted to whiten your teeth, I like that this is a more natural way to do it. There is something wrong about charcoal in your mouth though.

Love it . I actually have veneers and they were discolored.i team this up with a charcoal.tooth brush that I recd in a previous campaign.. and now buy! I feel my teeth are cleaner and the stains have lifted . Still a way to go but so.happy. do find the cap is a little hard to just push back on.

My teenage daughter is very excited about this toothpaste, she likes it and she recons, that she could already see the results after one week of use. I quite like it too, but somehow not-so-strong flavor makes me think that the cleaning abilities are less potent as well. Which is not the case.

Myself and husband are using this currently. It works, and I am enjoying it, but to be honest, in comparison with our colgate whitening one, it doesnt taste as good, and feels about the same after using, so whilst I am enjoying using it, the benefits do not merit changing from a slightly less expensive and tastier brand, sorry

Nice idea but experience let down by grey froth in mouth. Used to white froth for white teeth so difficult to get head around the category norms. Also black packaging doesn’t resonate.

The only reason it wasn't 4 stars is due to the fact I can't yet see any difference to the whitening claim. The texture and taste were really unusual and my children weren't too keen at first but the clean feeling after brushing was really good.

The product itself is great. Tastes nice and my teeth felt lovely afterward. I wouldn't purchase this produce as our dentist recommended that we have a fluoride toothpaste.

The toothpaste does not lather in mouth so your not sure if its cleaning your teeth. Im not a fan of the charcoal texture or look but my daughter claims her teeth look a little whiter after using this toothpaste every day.

The toothpaste has a wonderful flavour and makes your teeth feel very smooth and clean. I would have to continue using it to see if there are any whitening results so the jury is out on that count!

The toothpaste is much better to use than charcoal powders I have used in the past.

The trial period is not long enough to see the whitening effect. Using black toothpaste is a new experience. The taste and the texture of the toothpaste was okay.

The whitening worked however I didn't feel that my mouth nor breath was fresh. Ended up using it with my normal toothpaste

This product certainly surprised me. Its not like other toothpastes. Taste is different and it doesn't froth like others. Will be interesting to see if there is any changes to the colour of my teeth after a couple of months.

This product did not whiten my teeth at all.

This toothpaste does not contain fluoride which I consider essential for good oral hygiene. I line the flavour of it and have been using it sporadically as I do want white teeth but would never use it as my main toothpaste

This toothpaste is brilliant. I have tried numerous whitening toothpastes in the past, but this is the first one where I feel I have seen true results (within a couple of days my teeth were visibly whiter). :)

We had the toothpaste. Love the ingredients. Great idea, but it would take some effort to get over the black toothpaste and lack of foaming. That is just what we are used too. Not fussed on 'made in China'

We used the Charcoal Toothpaste. I'm yet to decide wether it has made a huge improvment on my teeth cover, we've just been away and I forgot to pack it with me :( so will see what my teeth look like in another couple of weeks. Taste wise its alright, but I feel I need a more minty flavour, so I always felt like I needed to brush my teeth with a normal tooth paste before or after brushing with Blaq.

When my Black Box arrived, I thought something had leaked - such a strong peppermint smell coming from the box! I love a strong minty toothpaste but peppermint in this toothpaste was a little unpleasant.

As my sister is a Dentist. This stuff is damaging and a seriously dangerous product. You are literally sanding your enamel off. I refused to even try this and am horrified that it is on the market.

Charcoal is abrasive for enamel and I wouldn’t use on my teeth

Charcoal not my thing- easy to spill and get on clothes, would find a toothpaste or gel a lot more easier to use with less mess. Powder takes awhile to get used to and found it hard to not get all over clothes when using it- packaging eye appealing and would recommend this to my friends who have used a powder before

Cool product. My daughter did look at it and spill half of the kitchen bench so not a practice container and a bit messy for my liking. Wouldn’t buy again.
