Blaq Tooth Whitening Charcoal Powder

an interesting concept - i was a bit wary at first

As have really sensitive teeth found the pain worse while using this product instead of sensory exposure.

As my sister is a Dentist. This stuff is damaging and a seriously dangerous product. You are literally sanding your enamel off. I refused to even try this and am horrified that it is on the market.

Charcoal not my thing- easy to spill and get on clothes, would find a toothpaste or gel a lot more easier to use with less mess. Powder takes awhile to get used to and found it hard to not get all over clothes when using it- packaging eye appealing and would recommend this to my friends who have used a powder before

I always wanted to try a charcoal powder and I was surprised of the nice flavour and how easy it was to use on my teeth. I honestly feel it got rid of some stains on my teeth and Im still using it and will repurchase

I gave this a chance and used it every night for a week. I can't say my teeth got any whiter at the end, but they did get disturbingly black during the process. I was worried I would stain my clothes or the sink. I wouldn't bother with something like this in future.

I had always wanted to try this type of product so it was awesome to receive in a blackbox, although I'm not entirely sure it actually works, it's fun to use. Very messy though, I started using it in the shower so I didn't have to clean up the mess it makes over the sink

I had my son try this and he wasn't too fussed said it's weird he's 28 but always wanted white teeth so perseverance for him ma work, I can't use as have a dental plate and if it changed the colour of my normal teeth may look weird? Anyway don't think he was too convinced

I really liked this product. I've tried charcoal toothpaste before and it was ok- didn't notice any difference on the whitening front. I like the charcoal powder because although it's messy, there's only 3 ingredients! And it did leave my teeth feeling really really clean. I think that natural dental products are the bomb! I was stoked to receive this, had always wanted to try it. I would definitely purchase again, I like that it seems like it will last a while before I need to replace. Love the packaging too. Looks fancy in my bathroom :)

I thought that this product was good and I liked the feeling that that my teeth had after brushing. My issue is that after doing a little research, there seems to be a lot of dentists/industry specialists who say that these charcoal products are more damaging than beneficial for peoples teeth. I have continued using the powder, but only once or twice a week, as not to damage the enamel on my teeth too much. My teeth feel much cleaner and there has been some change in the discolouration, but I would not use this as a daily toothpaste replacement.

I thought the powder was awful, it was really unpleasant with my teeth going black, and even when spitting it out carefully black specs went all over the place, it made a real mess of my sink, and worried it would stain fabrics nearby. Such a bad experience I didn't use it again. My husband tried it too, said the same. Maybe the toothpaste is better, but that powder is awful

I tried the Blaq charcoal for a while. To be honest I didn't see any noticeable results, but my teeth did feel clean after use. It is also wise to not have a clean basin when you do it and be very careful as to not drop it. As it stains everything it touches. Also, use a separate toothbrush ad it will ruin your regular one.

I use a dentist whitening treatment so generally do not purchase other whitening products. In the short timeframe since receiving the black box it is a bit tough to judge the longevity of the benefit of this product.

I was cautious with the charcoal powder as I had heard its bad for teeth enamel.

I went online and learned that charcoal can be quite dangerous used this way - too abrasive and a carcinogen when inhaled!

I wish we had got the toothpaste to try. The whole idea of charcoal powder does not appeal to me and because you dip your toothbrush into it, you can't really share it.

I would never use tooth whitening products, especially those containing charcoal products. They are proven to be dangerous for your teeth and strip away tooth enamel. I will not try or recommend this product.

I'm absolutely blown away by the results! My teeth were instantly whiter. I have quite sensitive teeth and this product didn't impact on my sensitivity - wonderful! This is definitely a product I'd buy again!

Im going to use this till its complete and compare results. I had the powder... what an interesting experience. The product is messy :( and we have a pristine white bathroom... I'm actually going to try the toothpaste next - just to see... but the powder is a no from me :(

It's quite a messy product, which I expect- but have you thought about offering the product with a black bristled wooden toothbrush- it isn't a product I want to use with my traditional white bristled brush- thankfully I already had one here as I have tried other charcoal products before. Also to add, I like the mint addition to the flavour- makes it stand out from others I have tried

She found it hard to open, and found it flavorless added that she would like it to be mint flavored. She started off with the best of intentions but soon forgot about it. My niece who works for a well known dental clinic said she noticed a few customers with particularly white teeth and asked them what they were using.. they said charcoal powder! This product is amazing!

My teeth feel cleansed and I'm sure they look less yellowish. The powder is a little messy and shouldn't be rushed. I have a battery toothbrush and on occasions managed to spray black mist in all directions. Also have to make sure that one wipes ones lips as they'll be tinged black.

My teeth felt clean and fresh after brushing. I definitely had to brush twice to get all the residue out. It would be a 'sometimes' product, because of that.

Needs to have instructions on the pot, as once you take the container out there is nothing to tell you how to use the product.

This is something that I have wanted to try for a very long time! I am so pleased - i will keep going, I have only tried it for a week so obviously not huge differences but I googled and found there were plenty of fabulous results.

This was a terrible product for a young family, the powder when used by children went all over the bathroom - so messy. I probably would have been ok with the toothpaste. The kids did love it though

This was an interesting experience... I have braces; the fancy white ones that you pay extra for and that are regrettably rather prone to staining. So I was worried at first that I'd end up with blackish-grey stains but thankfully all good. The taste and texture are fine; the packaging is great (minus the plastic). Would buy again, even if it was just to scare the kids at Halloween ;)
