We gave these pies a try a month ago bought the 6 pack steak and cheese the only the on show at our supermarket and were rather surprised that they tasted so nice in the past we had bought cheap packets of pies that were frankly horrible on 20% meat and full of extender along with a gritty feel on the tongue. We liked the pastry as being on a strict diet it was flaky without being over rich.This fortnight we were even happier to see mince and cheese available and had them the old fashioned way of pie pea and pud (peas and potatoes.
Glad to see I wasn’t the only one who thought these pies were disgusting. Definitely the worst pie I’ve ever had.
Took two bites and tossed it in the bin. Absolutely disgusting. Doesn’t even taste like a pie.
The one star is because it's shaped like a pie. That's the only thing that would fool anyone into thinking these pies are actually edible. They taste revolting, every part of them. Like they're off. Rank.
These pies are disgusting. Horrible tangy taste doesn’t taste appetising at all meat tastes off and so does pasty, they aren’t even expired either! Will never buy again
