Tip Top Super Vege Beetroot 650g Loaf

Wasn't the worst bread I've tried, but the colour looked abit weird for bread. I got the beetroot bread & the only thing I'd use it for is a sandwich with healthy fillings in it, ie meat, lettuce, tomatoes & salads etc.

I didn't like it and thought it had limited fillings that would taste okay with it.

Most of the family love it although my son wouldn't eat it all because it was pink, have since purchased the spinach variety which he ate

Was just a bit wierd for bread. I am not really a fan of white bread, but adding the colour to it was not really appealling to me.

I was super excited to try this bread, packaging is great, unfortunately no-one in our household really liked it.

I really enjoyed this bread, it took the kids a little bit to get head around beetroot bread, but all in all it was fresh, soft and delish.

While I am not a fan of beetroot myself, I managed to convince the kids to have it. They loved it.

Very cheap texture that was too soft and squishy. Could taste the beetroot but only when eaten by itself with no spread etc. on it. Interesting colour.

This bread is not just for the kids.

Tastes just like soft white bread - a hit with the kids! We only buy it sometimes as prefer the health benefits of wholegrain bread, but this is such a great treat. Makes the most amazing fairy bread! We found that it goes mouldy quicker than our normal wholegrain bread - eat it within a day or 2 of purchase or pop it in the freezer so you don't waste it!

I was rather surprised - tastes just like normal bread. I'm not sure what I was expecting...something with earthy tones from the beetroot perhaps. My son reckons he doesn't like it, but I'm pretty sure if he was blindfolded he wouldn't tell the difference! A win in my book to get extra veges in!

This was good, not a strong flavour but we probably wouldn’t put certain things on it- like jam or Nutella. We prefer a wheatmeal bread texture so that’s the only negative. But maybe to use occasionally. We also bought the carrot variety to try and it was also good but would be a sometimes buy, we’ll stick to our grains/wheat for daily use

Was skeptical at first because of the colour change of the Beetroot flavour and was concerned as to what we could pair it with but both my 10 year old and I both found it to taste like normal bread with the added bonus of more vegies!

Love the concept but unfortunately my kids didn’t like this bread despite trying to disguise it and call it superhero bread. It’s got a strangely sweet taste to it. Was pleasantly surprised how much beetroot powder was actually in the bread though.

Tasted pretty much the same as regular bread.the children took some persuading to try it as the colour put them off. The nutritional content wasn't as good as I thought it would be, higher salt and sugar than regular white bread.

Husband and I enjoyed it, toddler took a bit to get his head around the pink colour but liked it after trying. Novelty factor for lunchboxes a definite plus!

My kids liked this as a novelty and thought the colour was awesome and different. They both said it tasted good and it was super soft. Good way to get some nutrients in to kids who are "allergic" to veges:-)

Super fresh and soft, and an awesome idea, but the taste was too strong and the beetroot flavour (which didn't taste like beetroot) didn't go with our toast toppings (jam, cheese, peanut butter). Ended up feeding the ducks with the last half of the loaf as my family wouldn't eat it - it just wasn't our thing.

We actually really enjoyed this bread. We would buy again however it didnt seem to last too long before getting mouldy so would suggest buying to eat within 2 days.

Really like this - had seen it in the supermarket. I wasn't sure I would like it so didn't want to buy it only to have to throw it out if no-one liked it. Happy to say that it tastes great!!! Will want to get this again and try the other versions also. Loved that it was so soft.

There's nothing I like better than a sandwich - well maybe one thing. Its strange to see Red Bread and as soon as you bite into it you are expecting a sweeter earthier taste. And to some extent that's what you get. Its ideal for making those savory sandwiches - salade, cheese etc but I was a bit reluctant to try anything sweet with it. However, surprise surprise a dollop of Manuka honey and it was just fine. .

Love it , fantastic for lunches & avo snack before we walk the dog, we don’t do white bread, so this is a different to grain and a healthy and fun option.

I really enjoyed this bread. it was fresh with the texture white bread, you could taste to beetroot and would buy it again.

One kid didn't like it and the other wasn't that fussed. It has a nice texture and there is a slight beetroot flavour. Nice for something different.

Kids wouldn’t touch it, so I tried it, but not good with sweet breakfast topping and not great with avocado either

The beetroot taste is a bit to strong for my liking it was okay but it went off very fast super soft growing mold

I think it great idea for getting veges into kids. I liked the beetroot but I prefer the carrot 1.

Was bit unsure to try it, doughy more than normal so cut circles in them and pressed into cupcake moulds baking tray filled with ham, cheese spaghetti and popped in oven for the kids. They loved it called it Easter bread.

We were unsure at first, however... delicious! My teenagers first opinion was it was a little 'doughy', however, after toasting it & adding only butter... she is hooked. Finally a great way to get the veggies into her! Idea for parents : perfect for making fairy bread

Tip Top Super Vege Beetroot.My thirteen year old daughter and one of her friends tried it out. They loved the colour, thought it was "cool" and then tasted it. They said it tastes the same as normal white slice bread so after tasting it I was told it's not worth paying more money than I do for white bread.So instead of paying $3.30 for a loaf I will stick to the $1.90 home brand bread.

It’s a no, the bread taste so weird. We are a family of 5, even my 2 small children did not like the taste.

I was intrigued by this pink bread and hoped the kids would like it due to the novelty factor of colour. They tried it, but neither of them enjoyed it much. Both mentioned it had a different taste. They said they *would* eat it but it wouldn't be their favorite. Husband liked it in his lunch sandwiches, said it was soft and went well with his chicken salad filling.

Not for us sorry….but if a weird flavour. Probably fun for little kids to have the colour.

This was a very interesting concept and wasn't sure if it was going to taste good. I made a sandwich of cheese and salami with it and it was good. My Son had it with peanut butter and then Nutella and enjoyed it very much.

This bread is extremely soft and delicious 😋 the kids and adults both enjoyed it and it's fun for the kids being colored.

This bread was soft and tasty and it went well with my favour toppings, peanut butter and vegemite. The texture was similar to brioche even with a slight sweetness. I didn't like it toasted.

My fussy eater was reluctant to try after she read the packaging, but after I tell her to give it a go, and she tried it, she loves it sooooo much! Best thing is she actually says it is so good to eat it plain and the crust is so yummy too! Usually I would need to cut the crust away before she eats the bread. My youngest girl loves it to bits too, and they reminds me plenty of time to get it for them on the next groceries trip! I have never seen them ate so many slices of bread in a day, till I have to tell them to stop!

Love the fact that it has hidden vege in it however when the kids discovered it had beetroot in it (which they don't like) they didn't want to eat it and the colour was a bit patchy so that put them off also. It didn't really taste any different from white bread. The loaf was stored in a bread bin on the bench and went mouldy after 3 days unlike other breads which usually last alot longer.

Absolutely love how soft this bread is, I enjoyed making sandwiches, then at the end of the week I made toasted sandwiches with the last few slices.

Couldn’t taste the veges which is not a bad thing. But felt like it was just cheap white bread with veg added. Hated the consistency and the look of it.

Tasted fine but the kids were put off by the colour of the bread itself.
