I own 4 dogs including two dachshunds. Dachshunds can be ‘fussy’ eaters so I change the food I offer them regularly & include fresh and kibble options. They are the Purina option I offered right away. (Sometimes have to hand feed to get them started)I will certainly be adding the Purina ONE® SMALL DOG Active to their diet. The two other dogs I own are small Maltese X. They struggle with some kibble as the pieces can be too large and very hard on their ‘old’ teeth & gums but they also seemed to enjoy the Purina ONE® SMALL DOG Active. Probably because the kibble is small and easier to chew than some. It is also easy to get into their ’treat ball’ which I leave with them for distraction/entertainment when I leave the house without them.

+ PROS: Small kibble pieces /nutritious
- CONS: Could be a little softer for the older dogs old teeth & gums.

My dog is an extremely fussy eater and so far, I have only found one type of food that she will readily eat. Not anymore ... She absolutely scoffed down the entire serving! The food actually looked quite appetising to me and it didn't smell too bad either. I found the pouch really handy too as it contains a meal size serving.

My Izzy loved this! I really wish I got her on camera running around in anticipation when I got the pouch out (third / fourth pouch). She loved it! I must admit the first pouch was a bit of a disaster but totally a user error when opening, got it sussed after the first attempt and its great just being able to tip out the contents.

We have always fed our small dogs good quality kibble (toy poodle & mini Schnauzer) I tried the Purina one wet food originally to hide medication for poodle. He considered it a treat so our Schnauzer got some too, they both absolutely love it so this is now part of their regular diet, highly recommended

My dog Winston, loves his food and always eats half his dinner, and then goes dack a couple of hour later to finish off. When given a pouch of Purina One for small dogs( 8.6kg) with the biscuits as well. It is wolfed down so fast and then the bowl is locked clean.

I was dubious that my fussy eaters would even be interested in trying this but I was surprised. my fussiest was eating it straight from the packet before I put the dish down!! I was trying to get a pic at the same time to be fair! anyway, i am impressed with the convenience and size of the packets, ideal for my 2kg and 4 kg dogs. I have purchased a few of these and think they will also be ideal for when we go away on holiday. saves lugging loads of dog food, these keep fresh pouches will be super easy too. My dogs loved them.

An ok pet food - seems to be well thought out and tasty looking enough- however my dog prefers a dry diet and has a sensitive stomach so the food didn't agree with him. Otherwise like the concept but would be better if it came in packs of 7 - one for each day of the week - would make purchasing easier.

As a new addition to my dogs diet I was pleasantly suprised how quickly she adjusted to Purina One. The small sized biscuits make mealtimes easy, theres never anything left over, even the cat likes to sneak a few buscuits away. Reassuring to know these are full of goodies and not chocka full of preservatives.

This food is great, I found my little furry friend was really lacking in energy after our morning walk, by afternoon he really didn't want to do much so I started looking into different foods, I started him on "purina one small dog active" and by day 5 there was such a difference, it's now been jst over two weeks and it's like having a new dog in the house, he has enough energy that we can go for two walks a day and also can have a game of fetch at the park while taking a break from our evening walk
