Pop Tarts – Strawberry

Way too sweet, more of a dessert treat than a breakfast food.

Not really my kind of thing, too sweet. I'd much rather get a fresh pain au chocolate or danish. But appreciate the nostalgic value!

Popular with my teenagers but they aren't allowed them for breakfast, they are more a treat item.

These should not be promoted as a breakfast food. They are far too sugar packed for a regular snack. The price point is too high for what they are.

May as well smother sugar in cardboard. Overly sweet and toasted version tasted less like pastry and more like cardboard. I toasted was better but sickly sweet.

Cannot believe these would be promoted as a breakfast food, horribly unhealthy plus the taste is terrible! Even my sweet tooth son and husband took one bite and refused to go any further.

My loved these as a special treat

Not as sweet as i thought it was going to be, but not a very nice taste. Artificially chemically tasting. I have since seen them in store and they are so expensive.

Simulatenously too sweet and completely bland. Smelt okay but, much like herbal tea, that was where it ended. Even the kids, ho tried them enthusiastically, didn't like them

By looking at the ingredients everything is Genetically modified, it lacks any source or nutrients and is full of sugar! Absolutely not a favourite in our house the kids could only take one bite of it.

Absolutely delicious, tasted like strawberry shortcake, I had these with ice cream for dessert, I have always cut a long bit of baking paper and folded over them and put in toaster to keep them intact and to stop bits in the toaster.

Crumbled into our toaster while being removed. Was being careful. Had to buy new toaster as bits with jam got stuck all through the toaster

Too much sugar - the kids didn't really enjoy them. Too expensive for what they are.

Waited years for usa snack to arrive. Disappointed as not yummy like the adds used to show. Kids had them for a treat. Something different . Haven't asked again

far too sweet. frosting too thin, unessesary, filling very thin and hardly distinguishable. Pastry - is it really? cardboard? paper?..... more sugar in different format Very disappointing (even after what seems like 20+ yrs!!)

Kids didn't rate, maybe a different flavour might be nicer. To fake tasting.

The adults enjoyed them as a sweet treat after dinner. No issues with them in the toaster but they needed to sit for a little bit as they hold the heat. Wouldn't eat them for breakfast though and only as a treat due to the sugar.

Pastry has no real flavour and a powdery texture, my kid hates it. The Strawberry flavour is almost non existentant. Way too sweet. Their thermal retention is astounding, so little time in the toaster and they burn your fingers!

The number of ingredients in this product is scary. Way too sweet for me, and with that sugar content I'm not keen on the kids eating them.

These were not very nice at all. The outside was dry, the filling was sickly and fake tasting. Not enjoyable. Kids didn't finish theirs.

Nope. Kids didn't like these at all and then one broke in the toaster and it took me an age to try and wrangle it out. Sticky jam on the elements and the house had a burnt sugar smell for a few hours while we tried burning it off. Poorly put together, mass produced gunk really. Hard no.

no stars. Horrible not bearing any resemblance to real food. Similar to cardboard with jam spilt on it. These were thrown in the bin. This is the kind of fake food that NZ should ban.

These were so yummy I had never had a pop tart before so was happy to give them a go and loved that there were enough to give out to the whole family

absolutely disgusting! No one liked these at all. I was worried they'd make a mess of the toaster, but cooked them on low as instructions say, otherwise they will. If you like a bit of icing and jam on your cardboard, you'll like them!

Kids were super excited to find these in the box as not something I would normally purchase. My youngest who has a sweet tooth and loves junk food didn't even like them. She didn't thought they were like cardboard. They don't even remotely resemble food, very processed.

They are the most disgusting things!! I had a bite and the birds got the rest. Fall apart in the toaster, thermo-nuclear jam and really sweet. I can see why when I was a kid (over 50 years ago) that we used to call them "Slop farts". Absolutely awful!

Tasty, the kids loved them the most. Warmed on a low setting so they didn’t break in toasted. Worked perfectly.

Our 10 year old boy loved it! It's going to be another his favorite snack.

tried one based on the instructions it broke up whilst heating in the toaster and starting burning the crumbs set off the smoke alarm and left jam deposits in the toaster that I can't clean out so now I have to throw away my toaster as every time I go to use it again it burns the filling deposits causing the toaster to smoke and sets off the smoke alarm thanks have to go and buy a new toaster now won't buy these they need to come with a warning.
