Obela Hommus Sweet Beetroot

Actually Obela Sweet Potato was too much spicy for me, but I’ll try another taste later

again, delicious - especially with homemade lavosh!

All my family and friends enjoyed it!

Although we have tried Obela before, we had not tried this one yet. We all loved the yummy, nutty combination of flavours and have actually bought it again for a party as it is delicious

Another brand we'd leave for special occasions - it tasted nice but the kids weren't too fond of it.

Another great product in this Black Box! I totally like this hummus as I really like kumara and this has chunks of it too. This reminds me that I need to make use of the coupon to get me a couple tubs of this yummy hummus. :)

Canola Oil puts me off this hummus. Too processed for my liking. The flavour does appeal though

good that its gluten-free. Simply delicious. Smooth, tangy and taste of spices, but not too spicy so kids would like it too. The pieces of sweet potato cuts off the tangyness. I would certainly buy this when I next entertain

Haven't purchased hummus recently as my wife is pregnant.

I am a real fan of the Obela jalapeno hummus, sadly the sweet potato one didn't really excite me that much (I am not naturally a fan of sweet potato). Still the kids seemed to enjoy it and it was well recieved in the household.

I am afraid my 16 year old daughter and I both did not like the Sweet potato dip. It was way too sweet for us and I would not buy this product again

I really like Obela hommus but this one was a bit spicy for us. We served it when guests came round and they loved it so we would get it again for visitors or a shared lunch but just not for us as an everyday food. But we will keep buying your roasted pine nut hommus which is our absolute fave. Your classic smooth is also awesome. In fact we love most of your products and I only buy another brand if the shelf is bare of yours and I’m wanting a particular flavour.

I think the flavour we receive was just not for us, it was very weird taste no matter what we dip it with, I have tired their other flavour in the shop and it was 100 times nicer than this sweet potato dip.

I took this to Friday drinks at work and the overall people thought it was OK - most thought it was too sweet, I didn't mind the sweet it was the bitter morrocan flavour that put me off.

I took this to work and everyone loved it! However, I have not been able to find it in my local Countdown Store which is sad.

Lisa's hummus are the best. This particular Obela mix gives a slightly bitter aftertaste, which you would not normally expect from a kumara based dip.

Lisa's is my fave but will eat other brands dep on price/flavours

The cubed kumara in the middle was unexpected and I didn't like it at all. They really need to rethink that. I couldn't taste pistachios either.

This wasn’t my favourite flavour. I would try a different flavour. I love their other dip.

This wasn’t very nice at all, bitter and too sweet.

Thought the product was nice, but am not so fond of the 'sweeter' dip flavour. I wouldn't personally go out of my way to buy it, but would recommend it.

Unfortunately our family are not fans of sweet potato so this dip was on an uphill battle from the get go. We just didn't enjoy it. We like garlic or plain hummus and buy regularly. I also really enjoy beetroot and feta but again probably wouldn't go for a beetroot hommus. I do like your packaging though, the wider side makes it easier for dipping.

Was a very smooth consistency which was a bit weird, so def more a dip. What’s the purpose of the lid design? To use as a base so not lost I figure?

We though the flavour had a bit too much spice in it and kids werent fans but have since tried the beetroot and love that.

We tried the Moroccan, it's very smooth, I prefer the more traditional variants. This one was kind of like adult baby food for me! We tried the beetroot at a friends place and I liked this better, also looks nice on a platter.

We tried this at drinks and lots of people commented how nice it was. I didnt overly enjoy it but realise people like different things. Would like to try the beetroot one to compare.

While I Love other Obela flavours, I found the sweet potato flavour much too sweet for my taste. Out of 4 of us that ate it, only one of us enjoyed it.

A beautifully flavoured hommus dip! We had it on our platter board a few weekends ago and it was gone pretty quick. Am keen to try the moroccan sweet potato dip!

Beetroot flavour was weird. I liked the salsa in the middle but didn’t finish the hummus. Find obela hummus too thick-crackers break off in it. Lisa’s better texture

Beetroot flavoured Hommus was divine im still undecided on the swirl in the middle tasted a wee bit oily.

Beetroot Hommus was ok, I prefer beetroot with a creamier dip as the flavour doesn’t really shine when in a hommus mixture. Surely these can be sold in glass jars instead of plastic tubs to help eliminate plastic waste??
