Living Green Laundry Powder – Eucalyptus & Mint / Fragrance Free

although i love the natural ingredents the smell was too strong and unappealing to me

As Australian-born I loved the eucalyptus fragrance along with the fresh mint. I didn’t think I’d be influenced by the packaging but it was quite nostalgic and very green-focused. The only thing I was not keen on is for plan clothes, especially black or navy there can be light white residue left on clothes after the wash

As I have huge amounts of washing I buy the cheaper options

As much as we want to love this brand for all it stand for it dose not perform, we tried it ourselves 2 months ago and it leaves residue on our sheets (we do not over load), give this sample box another go and similarly disappointed.

Depending on price I would definitely purchase Living Green products, the soap powder gave my clothes a lovely fragrance and washing appeared whiter and you only need a little scoop of it as well.

Didn't like this product. The inner paper bag was covered in some sort of dried mildew, which put me off. The powder seemed to really dry out in the box, so was hard to use. No noticeable fragrance and didn't clean the clothes well. I would not buy again.

Don't use powder generally because it clogs in the dispenser. This wasn't to bad, but did still clog up a little bit. Pleasantly surprised. Love the packaging!

Fantastic to try a new natural laundry product. We enjoyed how it cleaned our clothes and felt it lasted really well. The paper bag inner was a little messy, but if I became a regular user I could store differently.

For my front loader, so prefer to use liquid detergents rather than powders. And I personally choose ones without fragrance. I don’t like my clothes to compete against other fragrances I wear on my body.

Found that this did not wash our laundry as others, I wouldn’t but it again unfortunately.

Great product, I am not brand loyal when it comes to laundry powder and purchase whichever one is cheaper at the time. Another important factor which is not covered here is that it has to be kind to sensitive skin. I found the Living Green good for sensitive skin and will add it to my list of acceptable laundry powders.

Having a septic tank means I should be using a more natural laundry liquid but I've always been dubious about their performance. This blew me away and I loved the fragrance of it, will definitely be buying this from now on.

I absolutely love this product! From the box & paper bag packaging through to the bamboo scoop (cute). Incredible clean, pleasant fragrance I am very very impressed.

I absolutely loved this product as I couldn't believe such a small scoop and a half can wash a large load. I thought that I would do something different with my challenge and put half a scoop into my foot spa and turned the dial on warm spa with bubbles, then added the laundry powder. After 20 minutes my feet smelt fresh and clean, and soft too. I hope I win this challenge. Oh, I did a few loads of washing too.

I am lucky to be able to afford to buy products that are living green.....the challenge is to make sure that it is affordable for all.

I am pretty devoted to my Persil laundry powder! I am not sure how expensive the Living Green powder is but I suspect it would have higher price point.

I buy this brand usually and have rated it highly, however the box I received was very clumpy. As if it had got wet. There were holes in the brown paper packaging. I know this is not usual for the brand.

I couldn't find on labling if it was ok for septic/wastewater tanks.

I couldnt find the scoop and try to find on the box to read if it was included or not, and couldnt see. Found the scoop about half way thru.

I did not even manage to use this, I lifted the internal bag out of the box to pour it into box and it disintegrated pouring powder all over me and the floor. I cleaned it up and threw it away. Was going to try the little bamboo scup with my existing powder but it’s design was so poor it didn’t work.Very disappointing product.

I did really like this product and it had a really nice smell. The downside for me though is that I prefer to use a liquid rather than a powder. So if they can look to give an option of a liquid that would be great and you can still put this into a recycle box so helping the environment.

I received the fragranced powder and didn't really like the fragrance - I currently use a fragrance-free Earthwise powder so the fragrance in this Living Green powder was a bit overwhelming. I think it would be good for sensitive skin and would buy it for that reason as my son's skin can be reactive. It smelled nice in the box and left a subtle scent on clothes. It dissolved well in water which is great (I was in warm water).

I would have preferred to try the fragrance free product - so I will buy this to see the difference

I would like a stronger fragrance but really like the "Flavour" of this. I like the low volume of powder also and got good results with washing - would buy again.

I would really really love to use more natural products with laundry, but I don't feel they wash as well, especially with young kids! Also, I think you needed more than the small scoop of this product to be effective.

I’m not sure why I didn’t like this powder, maybe the fragrance? It was also difficult to get it out of the packaging, seemed silly to have it in a brown bag in a box

I’m still deciding what I think about Living Green and I’m not sure whether I would make the switch from Persil Sensitive. I’m not sure about the smell and I don’t think that it cleans as well as Persil. I am still trying Living Green. I was disappointed with the smell. I would prefer a floral fragrance eg. Fragapani, jasmine, lavender etc.

I’ve always been told eucalyptus is not good for woollens so prefer powder without it. Get a lemon orange scent instead :) or lavender

I'd give it another chance but I will probably use their liquid

Im a big Persil fan. Gets out tough stains

I'm a hardcore Persil user, so I was a bit skeptical about performance but it seemed to work! Love that it's both natural and effective.

Im always keen to buy natural products especially when they smell nice on the clothes

I'm not sure it worked as well as Surf, but it was a lovely opportunity to try the product, I will recommend to my sister who is more green than me. I think she will enjoy this product.

It had a really overpowering chemical smell, which irrated our eyes, nose and mouth. It's difficult to get the scoop full and out of the box without all the powder falling out. I liked that it was all recyclable

I've tried it once but will finish my current open product first and get back to this product. I don't use powder (use liquid) so it'll be interesting to see how this goes, esp in a front load machine.

I've used LG dishwashing powder but didn't particularly like the residual smell on this one - its probably worth trying the fragrance-free option

Just in terms of cost I would continue to buy the other brand

Kid has sensitive skin so that is only reason I would not repurchase, liked it otherwise but wouldn’t risk it now we know what he doesn’t react too
