Leader NZ – Lasagne Toppers

Adults liked, kids didn't. Kids didn't like the meat but ate all the rest. Was a quick easy weekday meal

All I remembered of these was the orange grease/oil leaching from them as a kid. Unfortunately nothing has changed.....

Already bought more, whole family loved them

I could not find this at any of my supermarkets so was very guttered as have bought these before and love them

I couldn't try the product, as they'd run out at countdown barked head today (last day expiring) and they would;t give me an alternative product, bummer, I was curious, and a bit annoyed with the stress and hunting out the product to start with, (which I never found them at all)

I did not like these at all. They were mainly a weird tasting break crumb with a tiny bit of mince

I had not heard of this brand of toppa before but years ago used to buy the individually wrapped ones from another brand

I had these all the time as kids! When I'm shopping was buy the fresh meat at New world but I would prefer it near end of shop in with frozen chicken patties etc

I hadn’t had a topper since I was at university.. it was nice to rediscover them. They were a great midweek meal with a salad.

i hadnt bought n cooked these in a log time - kids loved them, last time i bought one ready to eat from a diary and it must have been cooked in old oil, it was terrible - so this was good to reintroduce this brand back to my radar, they were nice from my oven and we all enjoyed them. although it seems a tad expensive for what you get

I have not had a topper for ages!! Used to buy in the past. They tasted exactly the same. Not my favourite but my son enjoyed them so would buy in the future.

I have not redeemed my voucher yet but not from lack of trying, I tried at Albany pak n save they didn't stock them , new world long bay were sold out. I will try and get them but not going out of my way to other supermarkets unless I am there.

I just picked these up yesterday & they are in the freezer. Not the sort of thing we normally buy. The only freezer food we buy is dumplings

I liked the taste of this product, but the children found it a bit heavy. The price puts it out of our budget -I would need to buy 3 packages to feed everyone. Much cheaper and probably healthier to make my own lasagne.

I live in Kaikoura and we only have new world.. they didn't stock this item so I couldn't try it

I love having convence foods in the freezer for when we need a quick tea. I love that these are ready from frozen and don't have to be thawed out first. The whole family loved these.

I love the fact these are trays containing more than one toppa unlike other individual ones available in packets. Unfortunately not quite the hit I had loped for with the kids as one didn't like the taste and the other claimed it was spicy however went down well with the husband. Will purchase again as they're convenient and tasty.

I love toppers but generally it's just a convenience food while I'm out and need something quick at the servo or something. My kids loved them so may look at buying them to have at home on nights when I can't be bothered cooking

I loved my toppa, unfortunately my husband received 2 pieces of gristle in his (very bad luck!) and does not want us to purchase again. We usually buy GF chicken burger patties, tenders and nuggets, chicken chippies and GF pies from the convenience freezer selection.

I still haven't managed to find anywhere with these in stock. Everywhere seems to have the mac n cheese ones instead, so I bought a hot one and check ed it was the right brand first!

I think they are quite expensive for 4, great for smaller families but larger big eating families work out very expensive. Shame as my kids LOVE them

I use this product all the time really nice easy to prepare great convience in the four pack i purchase these for work meals as well fantastic product tasty nice looking and easy to prepare

Lasagne toppers are the sort of thing people would buy from the gas station or tuck shop, they are too fatty and not something I'd ever buy. The convenience fast food I'd buy would be frozen dumplings or chicken tenders

leader brand is amazing, the adults loved the toppers but not so much a hit with the kids, i will purchase again as handy to have in the freezer for a convenient quick dinner if needed or a lunch snack

My children eat sausage rolls when entertaining...playdates etc, they wouldn't eat a lasagne square, I enjoy them but being health conscious I wouldn't purchase for me.

My husband really liked these, but the kids weren't interested and I could have taken or left it. Convenience foods aren't really part of our diet as we try to avoid processed foods. This product was yummy, but we didn't feel like it was a nutritional option.

My husband used to regularly have a lasagna toppa after a night out in town in the late 90s early 2000s.... so I just couldn't bring myself to try one and with children I couldn't face giving it to them!! But my husband, mum and dad enjoyed them!!

Ooh I love toppers, they are my go to at the bakery. These ones are really good, and they aren't deep fried at home so I feel better about eating them.

Packs come in 4 or 12. As a family of 6 would be nice to get a 6 pack

Pak n Save wairau didnt have these so had to get from Countdown. It was really nice and wasn't greasy.

Perfect for weekend lunch after sport or lazy dinner with salad. I used to eat these when I was at school / uni so was fun to give to my kids to try

Sorry I am still to use the coupon as Pac n Save Kaitaia did not have this product in store. This is our normal shop and I haven't driven down to Kerikeri to look in the shops there. I am pretty sure my kids will really enjoy a product like this but in general I make most meals from scratch.

They didn't have enough substance, it was mainly air inside, we thought the flavouring was a bit sickly. We have had the chicken cordon blue before and we love that flavour. We buy this about one a month.

They had a nice flavour but we don’t eat freezer food like this. Sausage rolls is about it for us if we have people over for a play date.

Took me ages to find at our new world, hiding with gluten free foods so I would have never known they were there had we not got the voucher

Toppers are not our favourite - try to avoid frerezer convenience foods as they feel full of fat and "stodgey" and stick to basic sausage rolls

We all loved them

We are mostly vegetarian so didn't use voucher

We are unlikely to buy again. We tend to eat the odd pie but not alot of other freezer foods.

We buy freshly frozen meals from a local store (the "Casual Foodie")

we buy I love Pies sausage rolls. This was too processed for my liking

We buy the brand just not the lasagne toppers as nobody really likes them and it gives my husband indigestion

We buy them all the time. We have them sandwiched between buttered bread for lunch or dinner

We could not get the 4 pack from anywhere but often buy them other occasions

We didn't use the voucher but probably won't given pies are the only thing in this range of goods we would buy as we are trying to keep healthy and only eat these foods very occasionally (but would probably choose sausage told over these due to size)

We don’t really eat these as the frozen food we buy we serve up on platters as a buffet snack table for weekend lunches these seem to be a snack meal like a pie would be and we just don’t eat them, good flavour, yum just not ya if that makes sense

We had never tried any sort of Topper before. These were a hit with all the family and will be a regular addition to our shopping

We had the leader brand lasagne and we were highly impressed i was expecting them to taste quite dry and average but they were quick and easy to heat and very tasty

We haven't been able to find this particular product in our local supermarket to try. The only variant they had was a 12 tray which wasn't covered by the voucher and I didn't want to buy such a large amount given I didn't know if everyone in the family would like it.

We haven't used the coupon to get the product. We don't normally buy this sort of thing

We love love love Tony's Toppa's. So happy to get a voucher for these. Yum Yum Yum. The whole family loves them. Such an easy dinner.

We only buy free range gluten free Waitoa forzen chicken nuggets / burger patties etc. Most cheap frozen food liek thsi is not edible by our family. And we only buy free range pork and chicken. Why is it packaged in plastic? Not good enough.

We've just got an air fryer, and toppers have now become our go to instant lazy meal, so yum, thank you.

When it comes to food like this, price usually wins over everything else.

While im not a fan of lasagna toppa my husband is im more of cordon bleu from same brand

whilst not an absolute favorite these are convenient for when you need a quick snack or meal .. we always have some in the freezer

Who doesn’t like a lasagne topper? They are a great Friday night meal

With having casual workers for lunch ever so often, it’s nice to have something in the freezer if time gets away on me. These toppers didn’t even last long enough to take a photo, they went down a treat and will definitely purchase again.

Wow my kids LOVED these so much! WE have already bought another packet. Easy to cook and super convenient to cook from frozen on nights where things are running late or after kids sports etc. Definitely recommend.

YUM! So easy, convenient and delicious. We usually purchase crumbed hoki fish so its a good reminder to mix it up with these.
