Classic brand with a new flavour- awesome and great if they sell travel sizes too

Definitely lived up to its name but way to strong of a taste for my partners preferences. He likes something that feels smoother rather than tangy

Definitely tasted the oak. I would only buy a bottle of bourbon every couple of years. Tasted good enough that I'd recommend it to bourbon drinkers.

I have tried the previous sample of Extra Aged Jim Beam, so this sample too is accomplished, excellent on the rocks

There was a after taste that wasn’t very pleasant

This was devine ! Even though my partner was horrified that I wouldnt just 'appreciate it neat'. I mixed it in with a bit of coke zero and was away laughing. Devine flavour, we do enjoy bourbon a lot so this was a nice wee treat. I believe one of the boys actually brought a bottle of it round over the weekend, so its catching on.

Too oaky for me.

Unfortunately after a bout with rocket fuel in my naughty teens which put me off most booze for life, I don't have a taste for top shelf generally and tend to use it only in cooking. My husband likes it though.:-)

We are more fans of single malt whiskeys. However, having tried this product, did like this it a little. It was smooth & easy to drink, even neat. I guess the double-barelling has added to the depth in taste and texture.
