I recently discovered my cat has been reacting to some food purchased from the supermarket so was abit hesitant to try this. However she really enjoyed it and is showing no signs of irritation with the food. Id love to purchase this but price is a barrier making the rating lower for me.

We first purchased Hill's Science Diet Kitten earlier this year after we had just adopted our wee buddy and saw the discount code on a BlackBox email. We researched the product online and asked a friend who is studying to be a Vet Tech, we heard it was highly recommended. Our kitten loved the food from day one, far more than the supermarket biscuits he had been having prior. After a few weeks, we noticed that his coat was far shinier and glossier than it had been! We will be sticking with Hills, continue recommending it to friends and were really excited to receive a pack in our premium BlackBox this month.

I go for convenience when getting pet food and that is at the supermarket. It is also hard to compare prices, like I do at the supermarket when you only have one product in front of you at the vet and the other comparsions are in another shop.

I'm not sure if it's the food but my kitten recently has had diarrhea

It is hard to give a taste factor however when I mixed the pellets with another brand (as suggested when changing diet) I noticed the Science Diet pellets were eaten and the others were left - need I say more!

Its the food my little kitty was being feed at animates where we adopted her about 6 weeks ago, so we keep her on it and shes very happy and healthy.

Just as I received this I got a lot of posts on my facebook feed about Hills Science Diet biscuits causing kidney issues in animals in the USA due to a supplier issue. This did put me off a lot, so I only fed small amounts to my animals even though I hoped it would not be the case here.

Kitten and cat both ate it which was good as both are fussy. Wouldn't go out of my way to buy more though

They would not even try it. Put there normal food down and all three chomped away happy as larry. MMMMMMMM interesting. I put it down and left it there, four days later they still hadn't eaten it. AND they are guts and usually eat anything.

Our little girl was the runt of the litter she refused to eat the food provided by the pet shop and was starving herself. As soon as I introduced her to hills science diet she ate like a little pig and started to grow and hasn't looked back since. She's still a fussy eater and this is definitely her preferred choice in bikkies.
