My skin has fewer blackheads/breakouts since using this product. Pleasantly surprised as my skin usually doesn't react well to the Garnier skin care range. Not sure I've noticed less pigmentation as it claims though.

A light serum, goes on well - I always add to a damp face. Not too strong a fragrance.

Not greasy, pleasant fragrance, dries quickly. I need to use moisturizer in addition to the serum, as my skin felt slightly dry and tight afterwards. Easy to use dropper, it doesn't dispense too much and you can control the amount depending on how firmly you squeeze. I have old acne spots that I would like to see cleared up. I haven’t noticed any change after a month, but will see it through until the bottle is used up. I actually have quite a lot of new breakouts which is surprising, as my skin doesn’t break out much. I don’t know whether this can be attributed to introducing a new product or if it’s due to other reasons.

I tried this on my skin twice with a reaction both times. The packaging has a claim on "Our product is designed to suit all skin types and tones and is dermatologically tested." which to me is not really an accurate statement. My skin is quite sensitive so I watch what I use and I think the addition of frangrance/perfume and other chemicals is a bit contradictory to wanting to put something on your skin to improve its health. Both times I used a small amount of this serum I developed an itchy patch with reddened skin immediately and it itched for the entire day. Why did I use it a second time - as I needed to be sure it was the serum.

Both my teen daughter and I love this. Skins feels silky smooth and not greasy. Seems to get into your skin and not leave that greasy feel. Use twice a day and my aged sun spots are lightening up. Good news for me!

I was excited to try this product but unfortunately it made my skin break out. I tried on 3 separate occasions to use and each time my skin didn't like it.

Love this product - it is silky to use and dries really quick so easy to use under your normal day skin care. Makes skin feel very soft straight away and does appear to brighten the skin after even a few days. Also a "green beauty" product and cruelty free which is fabulous. Really nice smell, good absorption. I was very sceptical about this product, as we've heard it all before about skin products. I've used it for the last 2+ weeks. As I'm Getting older and I have some light brown sun damage on the right cheek on my face. I have noticed it has faded. Every little helps so I'm thrilled.

I really liked the packaging on the box and then was a little underwhelmed by the bottle design - it just wasn’t as bright and cheery as the box. I thought the serum consistency was great, it didn’t run off my face and rubbed in well. I thought the scent was quite generic and soapy smelling, I think I was expecting something with a bit more zing with it being for brightening… I liked the feel of the product under my moisturiser but I didn’t like the feel of it on my skin by itself. I would not repurchase this product again as I felt my skin did not benefit by using it.

My super sensitive skin likes this which is amazing. It goes on smooth and is absorbed without any greasy feeling. Only used it a week so haven’t noticed huge changes in my skin, other than it being smoother and less reactive than usual.

Garnier brightening serum

Smells nice, easy to use with no contamination from "dirty" fingers in pots. Skin felt nice, smoother and some how more moisturised, even after forgetting to use it one day. Could even feel my skin slightly tingling after putting it on.

Lovely smell and very moist cream, price wise might be a tad expensive but if it works would probably buy. Have used on my hands not my face for age spots seems to be some improvement but still only used for a week

The results I get will determine if I would buy it after I use up this bottle. Feels OK going on but I found the fragrance really overpowering and unnecessary. I liked the combination of active ingredients but haven't noticed any changes yet (been using for over a week). I am unlikely to change given my usual brand is cheaper, doesn't have unnecessary fragrance and is also cruelty free.

I like the citrus smell. I also like the way it feels refreshing on my skin. Easy to rub in and doesn’t fell heavy or oily.

I had an allergic reaction to this product. I smoothed it on at night as per instructions and in the morning my face was puffy, red and hot. I had to buy a hydrocortisone cream from the chemist, and it took 24hrs for the symptoms to fade.

I've been wanting to try a Vitamin C based face serum for a while so I was stoked to receive this in my box. I love the subtle, fresh scent and the texture. A little goes a long way and the serum absorbs into your skin easily without leaving a sticky residue. I can already notice an improvement in my complexion with brighter, more hydrated looking skin. I would definitely buy this again

To be honest this was not a product I would have purchased so thank you Black Box for the chance to try. Easy to apply with a lovely fragrance. It did not leave an oily residue when applying to my facial imperfections of which there are a few !

I’ve got my own preferred brand but was happy to try. I was a bit confused by the instructions on the package. It refers to cleaning the face and putting it under moisturiser. For people who have never used serum before it may not be clear whether to wash it off, wipe it off or rub it into the skin.

I’ve only used once so can’t talk to it’s long term affects, but it smells lovely and went on really smooth so I’m hopeful it’ll keep away the usual winter dry skin.

Feels lovely on the skin, I have been using it at night. Dries really quickly ready for my moisturiser. I like the texture and how’s it’s so light.

Not good for sensitive skin. My skin burnt as soon as I applied this. The pipette was also useless

Firstly I have super sensitive skin, so I was worried about using this.. but 100% no reaction at all so was thrilled. It goes on really nicely and feels amazing on my skin. I do still need to put a moisturizer on afterwards though, but probably just my dry sensitive face

Smells great, no need for moisturiser, light and easy to use. Not sure it does what its suppose to (lighten dark spots) but feels great.

I only use cruelty free products (which Garnier products are) and was thrilled to get this in my black box!! :) The serum smells absolutely devine and feels great on. It is not drying as some salicylic acid containing products can be.

It's a lovely product. The milky smooth cooling serum gives my skin a soft feel. It is not sticky and gets absorbed easily. Even on day 3 I can see a slight lightening effect on blemishes.

I have been wanting to try a vitamin C serum so was stoked to get this in the Blackbox to try. It feels lovely when applied on my skin.

Quite fragranced - it does smell nice, but I have sensitive skin so prefer to use fragrance-free products. Great combination of ingredients and a good price point. I’ll continue to use it and if I see results I’d buy it again.

Great product, feels great and smells great. have only just started using it but so far so good.

Waiting for the sun spots to disappear, only my first week of using but happy so far, love the smell, texture is nice, feels great on my skin so lets hope it does what it says it will and I'll look 21 years old again in no time, well actually about 6 weeks.
