No. I loooved the idea and I was so excited. Disappointment. What a shame. This is just no bueno, it had almost a powderish texture, very dry. I didnt enjoy these at all.

May I strongly suggest placing cooking instructions on your packaging as this will help for starters. Loved the taste and texture, just the balls need constant supervision, suggest sausages or patties even a mince would be great.

These are definitely amazeballs. Great flavour. It did take awhile for family to realise the pink in the middle of the "meatball" didn't mean it was undercooked haha

Mu husband is always a meat eater but we added some breadcrumbs and blended the meatballs together, made them into "burgers" and with the lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cheese and dressing he did not twig. Great way to get kids to eat vegies to I would imagine if life was a struggle that way in your house hold. To them it would be burger and chips.

I was excited to try these as I love Kumara and Beetroot and the fact it is all plant based, however I was slightly disappointed as there wasn’t a lot of flavour. The texture was good and they were super quick to cook up which makes it a quick meal. The packaging didn’t have the ingredients listed I had to visit the website to see what exactly was in it as my daughter has a nut allergy.

We loved this! Super easy to make and just add courgette noodles to make a vegetarian spag and meatballs.

These little balls of deliciousness are great in a wrap or burger with salad. They are tasty, soft and moreish. Great for the young, the not so young and the elderly as they are easily consumed with not a lot of chewing.

Not really a product our family was keen on.

Was a hit sort of, fell apart in our soup and because of colour looked abit raw to the kids. Hubby could tell the difference between these and normal meat ones and enjoyed the flavour. 2 out of 3 of the kids also enjoyed the flavour so it was a hit in our house.

I enjoyed these and would buy them as a newt alternative I found them much nicer they a lot of vegan meatballs I have tried. I served them with a sauce and pasta and found them to be a filling meal

I really enjoyed these. We added it to our roast veg and it was yum as. As a vegan, I'm always looking for meat alternatives that don't try to mimic meat (because why?), these do just that. I added a bit of homemade aioli to the dish and the garlic really complemented the sweet taste of these balls! Will buy again and looking forward to trying some other items in the range.

I was glad they came with a recipe or I wouldn’t have known what to do with them! Very tasty but not very filling you need to put them with something bulky and filling. On the plus side it’s a good way to sneak extra veg/plants into meals

I made kofta curry using these balls. Turned out superb. So easy and tastes awesome. Ate them with homemade Rotis. Healthy and nutritious. Would highly recommend this product. Can used in a lot of my recipes. Makes life easy and cooking interesting. Thank you Amaze balls and Black box.

I enjoyed these. I put them on pasta with a tomato pasta sauce like a meatballs dish. Texture very soft so possibly not the right way to serve them as kids were not fooled.

Sadly didn’t enjoy these. They sounded amazing but the texture and to me lack of flavour let them down. I think the guar gum is to be blame for the sort of slimy texture. I think if you could get rid of that ingredient and add something like garlic or ginger to give it a kick they would be great.

We are always looking for plant based nutritious products to add to our menu. Beetroot, Kumara & Kiwi Quinoa Amaze Balls Turned out to be exceptional good. My daughter being a vegetarian really enjoyed it and we will be definitely buying it more often. Served it with a bowl of salad with some homemade dressing it was a hit. Tanks black box for introducing us to new products.

Great for meat free night when you still want a meal with a meat-like product.

First time for me trying a vegetarian substitute and added a glaze made with stock, garlic, soy sauce, tomato sauce and sweet chillie sauce then baked in the oven. Served with roasted kumera and steamed broccoli, this was a delicious meal suitable for both vegetarian and carnivore!

I've never looked for meat alternatives, I received this as sample in my Black Box and will admit i was skeptical! However, i was pleasantly surprised, these were really delicious and quick and easy to prepare. A great refreshing change to the meat that didn't leave the same bloated feeling as meatballs would have done. I will definitely be adding these to my shopping list in the future.

I just popped these in the oven on baking paper no oil nothing, and put them with a roasted vege salad and they were surprisingly good, would definately buy again

I personally didn’t like it. Made it for my teen as my teen is vegetarian, so I thought I’d try one and didn’t like the texture straight away. I tried fry them but it was sticking to the oily pan and breaking apart so I ended up simmering cooking it in sauce. Teen claims that it’s ok but don’t like it but it’s ok. Wonder if taste better if I had oven baked it?

We got these in the Blackbox. Cooked them up and bowned nicely in frypan. Served with a fresh salad of lettuce, carrots and tomato 🍅. They were so delicious and tasty 😋. Adult son and I very impressed (he had 8 with quinoa rice on the side as well).

We enjoyed these in a “meatball” parmigiana. Kids really liked the flavour but were a little iffy on the texture. I have never seen this in store but would be keen to try again.

These were so delicious! I tried the beetroot ones and made them in a pasta sauce with fettucine! Very flavoursome and filling. Perfect size too so you can cook a few at a time if not needing all of them. Thank you :)

So yummy, great texture and flavour. I had them on lebanese bread with salad and hummus and some roasted capsicum and garlic. A great alternative to meat, even my meat loving husband thought so. Would definitely buy these again and try the other flavours. Will look for in the shops.

A nice spice in them almost like a curry ball but the texture and colour (even after cooked) resembled cow patties - they didn't cook hard are were like regurgitated grass so were hard to swallow

We absolutely loved this! I made a “meat free” spaghetti and “meat” balls with this. Lovely tomato bolognese sauce and it was lovely! My husband doesn’t eat Kumara ( I know right!) And he ate it all and loved it and after I told Him what was in there!
