Farmland Glazed Ham

Added the ham into a wrap for lunch, didn't give me a different feel, still just seemed like your average ham.

After working in a meat factory I was put off pre packaged meat as I could smell/taste the disinfectant when opening the packets. Couldn’t with this so will definitely purchase and love that it’s cut rather than heavily processed

Again I would not buy this , it's not free farmed

again, you need a rarely buy category

All in the household enjoyed this, need to buy more as it goes in one sitting

Although the meat was good, it only really made sandwiches for my husbands lunch for one day - I have big bellies to fill so purely because of package size, I wouldn't buy again

Ham is a standard purchase in our house. This product was not fatty, full of flavour and not salty. Would be good to have a reseal packet and more size ranges to choose from

I am really behind better packaging initiatives and also using less rubbishy stuff to bulk up chilled pre packaged meats. One of my most favourite things in the world is a ham sandwich and this one definitely cut the mustard! It was delicious.. and not wierdly pink either, it looked how meat should look. Added to our weekly shopping list. Add a free range option and it would be my regular go to.

I didn't like the half size (rounds cut in half). There were only 7 pieces in my pack all of varying thickness with 2 pieces so thin they were of no use. Tasty though. And I commend them on the recycled packaging.

I didn't notice that the packaging was recycled material. It is a great selling point and I would make a point to buy it over other products so perhaps this should be quite clearly marked?

I didn't realise that the plastic was recycled plastic. I didn't notice it on pack and was going to say I wouldn't purchase due to the volume of packaging but knowing this improves my perception. I'd make a bigger deal about it on your packaging. Also reducing the amount of plastic used would be great!

I found this product to be a bit lacking in flavour. I typically do not buy pre-pacakged deli meat as I like to take my own container and fill at the deli counter to reduce waste. The one advantage to this product is the longer shelf life, good to take away, but the long use by date makes me wonder what is done to it to make it last so long?

I tend not to buy pre-packaged meats, partly due to plastic (go to deli counter if we do want it) and partly as it is just not something we enjoy in our diet.

I tend to buy fresh deli ham from the deli counter as I buy 600-800g per week and to buy this ham would work out really expensive. In a sandwich I would find it hard to tell the difference in quality and flavour.

I think the name is quite similar to Freedom Farms. It wasn't until I did this survey that I registered it was a different brand.

I think you should advertise more that it’s cuts from a whole piece of meat. That influences me when looking at prepackaged meats

I thought this was going to be great in the kids lunches, but they just dont seem keen on it. Will try again tomorrow to see if i get a better response as the pack size and quality look great and something i would buy on a weekly basis

I try to look at options without Nitrite in it and only buy as occassional lunch sandwich option

I was surprised at how great the ham tasted. I don't normally enjoy pre-packed meat because I feel their meat is different to deli ones. However, this one is as fresh and as nice as fresh deli meat so I enjoyed it a lot. I am concern about the plastic packaging, I wish we have other packaging options.

Nothing comes close and I’ve been disappointed to not find it at my local Countdown.i will keep looking though as this would be my go-to ham. I would buy Farmlands Foods again now I know of them and their policy on environment and fresh cut no processing - this pack didn't have much flavour and the meat was very pale. I would try a different one by them

If we are going to purchase glazed ham we normally have it cut at the deli. I put this into a pasta for dinner, and everyone enjoyed it. I'm not sure I would purchase again as we don't eat a lot of pre-cut meat. Good to know about the packaging though.

It definitely had more flavour than the other prepackaged sliced hams we normally buy, but realistically if I am buying packaged ham it’s for convenience, not for flavour, so price and pack size then becomes more important to me, and the higher price point on this product would probably be off putting. If I wanted a “real meat”, I’d be inclined to go to the deli for freshly shaved ham.

It felt a little fatty, taste was ok. And it was good to see that it didnt seem to have the large amount of water that some do

Knowing that the meat is not processed would make me consider purchasing Freedom Farms over another brand.

Lasted like real carved Christmas meat. Great for special occasions but too expensive for the kids' lunchboxes.

Much preferred this to other prepackaged meats where it is pressed. This really did taste like meat straight off the bone and like a much more quality product.
