Yummy but I still prefer the creamy blue and the truffle castello cheeses. The Marquis has a really interesting taste and is by no means not tasty I am just so obsessed with the others.

I could not get past the smell to be able to taste it, so put in on the table at work with some crackers for my collegues to help themsleves, and there were very mixed reviews.

I did like this product, but for an every week shop I maybe too expensive, only for special occasions.

I loved the strong taste and flavour of the pepper in my mouth.

I believe this product was off as it had a really strong ammonia smell and tasted foul. However I would like to purchase it to taste the correct flavour. Easy to cut soft cheese that looked really nice.

Wouldn't be a cheese I would normally pick off the shelf - especially at that price. I love the Castello creamy blue so would normally default to that. But I had a tasting of this and was pleasantly surprised. It was very creamy with a great aftertaste. it's perfectly matched with a Chardonnay and would make a great addition to a platter. Because of it's strong taste I think it works well as part of a mezee of other flavours rather than just as a cheese and cracker on its own.

I’m really not a cheese person but this one won me over. Lovely flavour and so creamy, would definitely recommend. Only thing for me was that it was a bit smelly in the fridge which was something I’m not used to as I don’t buy cheeses that often but for this cheese, it’s worth it!

My first words are WOW !!!!!!!!!! Simply the best unripened cheese I have ever had the joy of tasting. It leaves all other camembert and brie dead in the water. Rich, moorish, full flavoured, simply indulgent. A must when you wish to spoil someone ... or yourself ! Perfect for festive entertaining.

Loved the creamy texture and the smooth taste of this cheese, so soft it almost melts in your mouth. Great on crackers and also added a little to our mac and cheese recipe, no left overs from that night.

The best camembert (or brie?) I have ever tasted. It's soooo rich and full flavoured. ... Totally moorish. ... the BEST ! If I could give 7 stars I would. I'm not generally a fan of camembert... but this will be a MUST on any cheese board I serve. I have looked for it in the supermarket... but not seen it... maybe always sold out?

Got to try this cheese at the food show and it was truly an exquisite cheese. Apparently also a blue cheese type, though it doesn’t look it. It has that typical taste but not as strong and penetrating as some blue cheeses. Also very creamy like a Brie. I found it at my local New World today, and can’t wait to have some with a yummy piece of sourdough tomorrow. PS definitively worth the price, but will be for special occasions.

Had never been inclined to purchase "boxed" cheese as I prefer mild cheeses and assumed it would have too strong a flavour for my palate. What a surpise! It is a smooth texture with notes of creamy blue and mild hibt of ripe brie. Loved it and friends raved how they always purchase it so it looks like its going to be a regular when entertaining now.

This is a very strong cheese but extremely creamy which I liked

OMG This cheese is amazing. I have been buying it ever since I first tasted it at an in-store demo sampling. Its creamy, sharp and relatively intense and peppery flavour reminds me of the Italian washed rind cheese with a hint of fruitiness. I think I am addicted to it !

I was extremely disappointed in this cheese. Was very strong and left a terrible aftertaste. Settled badly in the stomach. Wouldn't buy or recommend.
