You know how kiwi's love their vogels well Burgen has come to the party. We got this in our black box and before I even knew what was in our box this was demolished. I had to go and get another loaf and I think I only got 2 slices out of that bag... oh well. Great for sandwiches, but my fav is avo, marmite and tomato!

A really nice bread - part way between vogels and molenberg, i found the loaf quite small in size but had a great texture and still filling. would tend to use as a bread base for cooked items (eg toasties, toast, cheese on toast etc) rather than just in a sanwich.

As I would use the product for breakfast as toast, I noticed there was a fair bit of shrinkage in the slices once toasted. Instead of having 2 slices of my regular brand, I would be tempted to have 3 of Burgen!

As it contains milk 75% of our household couldn’t eat it. That’s why we don’t buy it

I alternate between burgen and Vogel’s depending on which is the cheapest. My toddle won’t eat it so we also buy molenburg for him. Burgen is my preferred for sandwiches as it’s softer then vogels.

I always forget how nice this bread is! Two factors stop us buying this regularly; 1. the slices are too small! I dont want to have to toast THREE slices in a two slice toaster lol - also we have a german bakery 5 minutes away and nothing compares to what they produce.

I love Burgen bread. My favorite is mixed grain toast, I'm going to stick with it.

I love Burgen fruit toast and eat this regularly. But am not a big sandwich or bread eater.

I love Burgen, bur it is a treat. We have a growing family, so we need quantity for our buck, and me, Mama, i am a yo-yo dieter, so when i am allowed bread And carbs, i tegu top make it nice bread, your smaller sizes help with that. But too expensive to be our Daily bread :)

I love these types of breads - seeds and nuts. My kids don't like any kind of bits ! I tend to put bread in the freezer and toast as and when required as try not to eat too much bread. As this is low in carbs that's quite good.
