Always loved a Tim Tam slam for many years, it seems behing the 8 ball that they have finally released them. Did enjoy this flavour however it did not necessarily have a wow factor just satisfactory. All the family enjoyed them however and they didn't last long.

first of all, I thought it was funny when I saw the "SLAM" being marketed as a process created by Arnott. I've been doing this with double coats for more than 10 years. Its actually better with cold milk! As for the flavour, I'd stick with the double coats rather than the gooey centre of the slams.

For my tastebuds I found this flavour too sweet however i do enjoy the dark chocolate tim tams.

Honestly, these biscuits didn't taste like anything. All Tim Tams really taste the same, and this was no exception. We were disappointed.

I actually really love original tim tams the best and find any other flavour just not enough. I love the gimmick of sucking through it and will recommend for that reason.

I actually though the vanilla flavour was going to be disgusting. However on trying it I was quite supprised. The vanilla was not overpowering. My son is the main biscuit eater in the house and he is quite picky and asked me to buy these again, which says alot. Overall loved it.

I always buy Tim tams and choc fingers for drinking like straws and found these slams to suck, they didn’t suck through at all and found they were hard to chew like cold toffee

I enjoyed the biscuit more as a biscuit rather than sucking my hot drink through it. I thought that the biscuit became too much like raw biscuit dough with the hot liquid. I liked flavour when just eaten and would buy them for that reason not to suck a drink through.

I felt the flavour was a bit bland...not very exciting. The 'chewy' in the name had the potential to be really delicious but failed to deliver in real life. Felt a bit underwhelmed with the product to be honest.

I felt the original Tim Tams allowed the tea from my drink to be sucked up much easier. I found the marshmallow to be a weird texture after the rest of the biscuit had dissolved.

I have been doing the 'tim tam slam' for years but never knew it had a name and was called that until I received the black box and saw it on the packet.

I have done Tim Tam Slams with other Tim Tams before and they work well, but I tried with the ones from the Black Box and it didn't work? Also, I found the chewy part a bit meh. They tasted okay, although a bit unnatural so probably wouldn't buy again and definitely not keen to try other flavours.

I haven't been able to find anything to confirm Arnotts doesn't use Palm Oil, so have avoided them in general for now.

I havent been keen tontry the other flavours but this one gets a big thumbs up

I learnt the tim tam slam process when I was a kid, we used to use choc fingers to do this. We don't buy choc biscuits in our house now, as our kids are little and don't want them having access to them at home

i saw circle marks on the biscuits and they were sloppy(sandwhiched off centre) my kids noticed it and asked me i said it is just the way the machine has put it together, after that i thought yeah, they are an inferior product to arnotts i guess (sorry)

I'm not really into hot beverages, but these were super delicious just to eat anyway

I'm such a loyal timtam original fan, I was hesitant to try the slam version but gosh it was so so yum

In our house these are treats so really hard to say I don't or won't buy.

Interesting combination but my wife and I tried them and we found them to be far sweeter than the normal ones

it annoys me that Tim Tam has used the colloquialism 'TT slam' in the branding of these biscuits because they are designed in a way that makes them impossible to 'slam'! Take the caramel/chewy material out of the middle if you want to advertise them as 'slam-able'.

It didn't work as advertised, so was disappointing, and the caramel bit was too chewy.

I've been tim tam slamming for years now and always with Tim Tams and when my budget isnt the best, i buy chit chats. I wasnt a fan of the chewy bit in the timtam as it didnt melt when you were slamming and had a weird texture in my mouth. I prefer original tim tams.
