Arnott’s Shortbread Bites have been created in collaboration with Barker’s of Geraldine and are proudly made in New Zealand. These melt-in-your-mouth bites are lovingly batch baked and are available in three delicious flavours: Black Doris Plum, Mixed Berries and Sweet Feijoa. Inspired by a ‘Taste of New Zealand’, Arnott’s worked closely with the team at Barker’s throughout the process to ensure their high-quality New Zealand fruit purees are complimented by the trademark buttery profile that we expect from a shortbread. With real fruit puree baked into every batch, you can be sure that every bite-sized piece is packed with flavour.

They are quite firm to bite

As a once or twice a year shortbread maker, I was pretty disappointed with these. Not buttery at all, could not taste any plum flavour - which is one of my most favourite fruits and biscuits were quite dry & crumbly.

+ PROS: Smaller portion
- CONS: Texture Lack of flavour Price

Super tasty - these did not last long once opened - and as they were small it was easy to convince ourselves that "just one more" would be fine HA HA. Would definitely recommend.

These weren’t overly sweet and had a hint of fruity bitterness from the plum. Quite dry and not as buttery as I’d expect a shortbread to be. My young son loved them and they were the perfect size for him.

The smell of these cookies is delish. Smells perfectly like a black doris plum. No fakeness at all to the smell or flavour. The smell is very inviting. I found the texture to be a little too firm for shortbread but thats the only negative except the price.

+ PROS: The authentic smell and flavour.
- CONS: They are a bit too firm. The box is $5 so we probably wouldn't buy it often as that's too expensive.

Not very shortbread like. Didn't have that good buttery taste of a proper shortbread. Couldn't discern any Plum or chocolate flavours either

Quite a hard shortbread. If you like small biscuits then these are just for you

These were tasty but I wouldnt call them shortbread, they were very dry on their own but with a hot choccy or coffee/tea they would be perfect.

+ PROS: Tasty, perfect bite size, lots in the pack.

Perfect cookies for an afternoon tea

I felt the Doris Plum biscuit bites tasted more like a fruity cereal, but my husband felt they tasted really good.

+ PROS: Fruit taste was present but not overpowering.
- CONS: Tasted more like a cereal than a snack. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy these.

Quite tasty little bites but don't really resemble what I think shortbread is. This could be disappointing to shortbread lovers. They were tasty all the same.

Really nice flavour and nice bite sized portions. Kids all liked as well (bonus!).
