Steinlager Ultra Low Carb 330ml bottle

Nice beer. I have not purchased Steinlager in prevoius years, but being introduced to it thorugh Black Box, I think I will be trying it some more on my next trip to the Offy.

Just OK. Wouldn’t buy for myself but would drink if nothing else on offer.

Only ever tried a low carb beer from another brand, well this one from Steinlager Ultra Low Carb tasted great and so easy no bloat drinking. Gotta get me some more.

I compared it side by side with my usual Steinlager Classic. While I still prefer the taste of the classic, it is not too different, and may be worth it for the lower carb content.

Was easy to drink. Light in flavour. Similar to other brands low carb beer.

I like the bottle branding. Haven't drunken a Steinie since the green bottle days. Flavor is a bit light in hoppiness. Nice enough beer for drinking on a hot day. May suit the Asian market.

Almost tasted like beer. While there are better low/no carb beers available this was easy to drink and light on flavour and better than a shandy.

Wouldn't buy. Have other low carb beers which I prefer if I was to buy a low carb beer. Would happily accept to drink though if I was offered it at a BBQ or event.

Partner got this one, for a low carb drink he thought it was pretty good. We popped in the fridge for a few days before we remembered it was in the fridge. Chilled bevvys are the way to go.

Hubby had this one as I am not really a beer drinker :) He enjoyed the taste and liked the fact it is Ultra Low Carbs. He would purchase this beer depending on pricing of other low carb beers compared to this one.

Partner is a brewer so i allowed him to rate this one... His thoughts are that the 'low carb' advertising is a gimic as all beer is low carb as it is. But, he was extremely chuffed to see a beer in the black box, so it can't be too bad!

Had this with tonight’s fish and chip meal. I’m a regular low carb beer drinker but hadn’t tried this one. Didn’t hate it but I wouldnt be repeating the experience. Not for me I’m afraid

Gave this to the beer drinker in the house. Comments were that it tastes bland and he wouldn’t be buying it. I had a small mouthful and it tasted like a shandy too me. Two differing opinions here and it would be for the discerning palate.
