Description

Organic soba is a medium flat noodle with brown colouring. It is brought about by the inclusion of buckwheat flour. This adds a wonderful nutty taste & texture that works well whether dipped cold into a simple dipping sauce or a more elaborate hot dish.

Cook really quickly

+ PROS: Fast and easy. Taste ok.

Really enjoyed these in our stir-fry. We find that some noodles are too thick or can lack distinct flavour. These had a nice flavour to them which enhanced our meal. Cook super fast - dropped into boiling water for 2min, drained then added to our stir-fry for the remaining 5min of cooking and they were perfect.

+ PROS: Not slimy like some noodles can be Nice stand alone taste
- CONS: Cooking very quickly could be a con - keep an eye on them!

These were nice enough BUT I was stupid enough not to read that they contain wheat as well and I am coeliac. The taste was good though and I liked it but the family absolutely hated it and they said the taste spoilt their entire meal. We had to order take out. I on the other hand enjoy the taste of buckwheat.

+ PROS: Love the packaging externally and love that the noodles are held together with paper as well so easy to portion out.
- CONS: Not a taste that everyone likes.

These were really yummy. They were not slimy at all and had a great texture.

Really tasty, I made stirfry and added the Soba noodles and they were a winner, they didn’t taste like pasta and were really soft. Definitely be buying these in the future

Yum! My daughter and I really liked the texture of the noodles and I used the recipe on the site for cold chicken slices with soba and garlic sauce and although plain looking, it tasted great!

Used in soup they didn't swell up and become gloopy. They took on the flavour of the soup. Packaging is appealing.

We had these last night for dinner and were amazing. I don't like thick and doey noodles but these were tasty the right thickness and the perfect texture. I would definitely have these again.
