Essano Hydrating Rosehip Detoxifying Pink Clay Mask

Essano Rosehip Pink clay Mask was a very nice product to use. First impressions - it appealed to me for having over 97% natural ingredients, its beautiful packaging and reasonably priced for the jar size. With using this product i found it had a nice smell to it, the texture of the product was good to apply and it hardened nicely after the 10-15mins the packaging stated. When rinsing it off I found it left my skin feeling amazingly soft and almost refreshed. My skin has improved greatly using this product along with the essano cleanser, eye peptides, collagen serum and night creme. My skin hasn't looked this good in a looooong time!!!

This worked really well - my daughter and I loved watching the clay harden and crack! It was easy to wash off afterwards, and my skin felt lovely. The scent was light and not overpowering. I didn't notice any major difference in pore size. I definitely needed the Night Creme afterwards, too, though that's to be expected after a clay mask. At once a week use, the pot would probably last a while despite its small size - however the cost and packaging for that pot does seem a lot in comparison with its size.

As far as masks go I found this one very nice. I don't often use masks as I'm not sure I really benefit from them as opposed to other products but given that I now really love this brand (and I think the prices are really fair) I would buy this again should I want a new mask.

Great packaging, you can easy access all the product, applies smoothly and drys quickly it has helped my congested chin area, without harmful chemicals which I love, do wish they had slightly more product in the tub but it still will last a decent amount of time before having to renew

This was fine - not something I'd rave about to friends to say "you must go and purchase this!", but it seemed do cleanse my skin, didn't dry it out. Felt nice and tight when it dried. Washed off easily. I'm not a huge fan of masks as I don't like sitting around for 15 minutes waiting to wash it off, but I'd say this one does what it's supposed to do!

I did enjoy using then while relaxing during lockdown, I seemed to have a slight reaction to it after using a few times. My skin felt a bit drier then usual but this has happened in the past with Rosehip products.

This clay mask really irritated my skin; kept it on for the 10-15mins and was ok after a few minutes. Was really burning around my nose for some reason; have tried 3 time and same each time. It gets tighter after a few minutes and you can feel your skin getting firmer. I wouldn't use it again as it is too irritating for me to continuously use it unfortunately. Other products from the night routine are perfect and not irritating so will keep using the other ones.

Really liked this mask. Nice consistency, nice smell, pretty colour, washed off nicely and more importantly didn't burn or tingle like so many masks do for me! I also like that it is not in a squeeze tube like most masks so i can get all the product out!

I genuinely enjoyed this mask and the after effects; my skin looked and felt smoother and softer and a couple of areas had a reduction in pore size which was a really nice surprise. I did find it relatively easy to apply using my fingers, it comes if a jar, but think a small plastic reusable applicator stick would have been a great addition. I didn’t experience any stinging once applied, just a tingling sensation as it dried, certainly not an discomfort. Clean up often presents a challenge in mask removal in my previous experiences but this came off effortlessly with warm water and a cloth. Overall loved this and certainly will be continuing to use on a weekly basis, along with the other cleansing items in the range.

I am not really a fan of face masks, having been subjected to several in the past by my wife. This one had similar issues to the others I have tried: an uncomfortable tingling and tightness as the product dried and minor itchiness afterwards. I guess that means its working, however. The results were good, as I could see plenty of impurities being pulled out, and my skin felt smooth and supple at the end. This product hasn't changed my opinions, but it did what it said it would do on the box!

My daughters and I like to try out different face masks together, so we made a night of it and tested out the Essano pink clay mask. We all have different skin types, so while I have more mature and normal/dry skin, one has oily teenage skin and the other is a little more sensitive (so we were sure to test this out first). It seems more suited for my own skin type as I didn't really experiencing the same sting that they did, but as with others we have tried, we all had varying amounts of redness afterwards which did disappear. Skin felt smooth afterwards, but just made sure to follow up with moisturiser.

Skin looked great after using, however it stung to apply, and skin felt very dry after removing. Jar was half empty at opening! Don't make a larger jar and then part fill it.

I'm not used to using a Clay mask, so was excited to try this. I did find it stung a little when first applied, but that quickly moved to a soothing yet tight feel on my skin.

I've been looking for a new clay mask for a while now - especially for one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and I think I've finally found one. When the seasons change so does my skin so it needs something nice and hydrating without leaving my face feel like it's been stripped of all its natural oils and this is just the product. When I first tried the Essano Hydrating Rosehip Detoxifying Pink Clay Mask, there was a slight tingling feeling which wasn't something I expected to happen, but after I washed off all the product my skin felt and looked amazing.

I don’t use a mask very often, as I don’t really like my face feeling ‘restricted’ as they dry and tighten -makes me feel claustrophobic This mask did sting my skin a bit, & left my cheeks & chin a bit red for a while after the first use. I tried it again the following week, & it didn’t sting as much, & there was no redness this time. My skin felt extra clean afterwards, but it’s not something I would probably use on a regular basis

Absolutely love this product. I haven’t used a face mask in a very long time and I was excited to try and all natural one with my daughters. Love the packaging and recyclable glass pot, super smooth to put on and easy to wash off, my skin was glowing.!

This is the first time that I have used a clay mask, so I was excited when I saw one included in the Essano Black Box. My first impression was that I love the packaging and how the product was presented. The design of the box was simple, yet informative and I loved how the promoted that it was a natural product that was ethically produced. Once I opened the box, I saw the glass jar and liked the size of the product. However, I was disheartened when I opened the jar and found it only half full. Application of the clay mask was super easy - as per the directions, it is best to apply the mask after you have cleansed your skin. I recommend using the Essano Collogen Boost Creme Cleanser. Once the mask is applied, the first thing I noticed was the stinging on my face. However this subsided after a few minutes. I left the mask on for the recommended 15 mins and found the mask to firm up quite well. I then removed the mask with warm water and patted my face with a towel dry. Reviewing the results in the mirror, I noticed my face to be smooth and re-energised. I would be happy to continue applying this to my face on a weekly basis.

Upon opening the jar of Essano Hydrating Rosehip Detoxifying Pink Clay Mask, I was a little surprised to find it only half fill with product. After patch testing on my hand I went ahead and applied. I went for an even layer avoiding the eye area. I found it stung a little while drying - of which it didn’t while patch testing. Washed off well and left my skin baby soft with a matte like complexion.

I love it. It's easy to apply. It stings a little on damaged skin when I first applied as I had a couple of pimples at that time but the sting quickly pass and my skin feel tight and comfortable when the mask dry. After the mask is washed off, skin feels smooth and refreshing.

I only applied a very thin layer but it still worked well. Didn't flake or fall off once dry. Washed off easily. I really like all the main ingredients in this product, specifically Witch hazel, Aloe Vera and Rosehip oil. This product made my skin happy. It felt gorgeous afterwards. Really rate this product. Best clay mask I have ever used.

My first time to use a clay mask before. Applying it was a bit hard as it was drying up so fast that I can't spread it much. When it dries, it does not feel uncomfortable. After removing it, my skin feels so soft and smooth. Overall, I like the product I feel my skin got tighter and refreshed.

Essano detoxifying pink clay mask is not something I have tried before. this arrived as part of a black box sample box. It comes in a tinted glass jar within a box. The box gives useful pictorial direction on what other products it can be used with that the jar doesn’t, however it’s not something I would keep once the jar is removed. The jar is only about 2/3 full but a little goes a fair way. Using this for a full face weekly it would probably last about 4 months so $1 per use roughly. It smells clear and fresh, goes on smoothly and gives a pleasant tingling, tightening sensation as it dries. It washes off easily and leaves your skin feeling smooth and clean. My daughter has sensitive skin and tried it. I saw a slight reduction in her ache and no negative reaction following use.

Personally, I think there is quite a lot in the jar if using only once a week as suggested but I was also unsure of how much to apply. I usually use sheet masks and do prefer the feel of them as clay masks such as this one do make my skin feel dry and tight whilst using them. However, I did love the texture of my skin after removing the mask. It felt matte and looked and felt smooth and soft. Another Essano product I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to try. I applied the Essano night cream afterwards and my skin then felt a bit drier so I would recommend applying the Essano collagen serum after the mask and before the night cream.

Really good mask, easy to apply and doesn't crumble or crust when dry, after washing off your skin feels refreshed and matt looking. As instructed once a week is enough and I have noticed that my pores are smaller.

I have never brought or used a clay mask before so when Black box sent me one, i was super excited to try this. My daughters and i had a pamper night, Essano Hydrating Rosehip Detoxifying Pink Clay Mask was one of our favourites. Its amazing to use, leaves your skin feeling refreshed. My skin felt conditioned afterwards and my daughters shared the same feedback. I did notice that there is not much in the jar, that would be the only con i can think off. Other than that, this is an amazing product.
