I am a chocoholic and this is by far the best chocolate I've ever tasted so creamy and rich. I used to purchase cadbury but switched to whittakers. If the creamy milk flavour is sold out at supermarkets I go for the Almond Gold. Am eating one at this very moment YUM!

Whittaker's makes great chocolates. They use excellent, premium ingredients, and they use as many locally-sourced New Zealand ingredients as possible. None of their products contain genetically-modified ingredients nor palm oil. Whittaker's also has strict processes for turning the ingredients into awesome chocolates in New Zealand (rather than doing it cheaper overseas). This is important to us because we want our carbon footprint to be smaller and because we want what we consume to be ethical. Lovely tasting chocolate and NO palm oil. I hate products using palm oil as all the orangutan's forest is being burnt down to make way to grow more palm trees. Save the orangutans, eat Whittaker's chocolate.

Whittakers is by far the best chocolate you can buy. I love all flavours but especially the White and Dark chocolate mint, Whittakers Chocolate does not taste "sweet" it has a real authentic chocolate taste, not an artificial sweet taste with more sugar and less coccao. Whittakers is CLASSIC, ORIGINAL, REAL not FAKE.

I changed to Whittakers when Cadbury made the mistake of using Palm oil. I have never gone back. It's hard to imagine I used to eat Cadbury as when I try it now, the taste doesn't even compare to Whittakers. I like how Whittakers have a wide variety of cocoa content so you can eat dark chocolate if you want to, or just a little bit darker than milk chocolate. It all tastes great to me. Whittakers sets the bench mark and not many can beat it. Lindt is also pretty darn good too, but less affordable.

The best for baking and also eating. Can’t even compare it to Cadbury as Cadbury is not even on Whittaker’s scale. It would be comparing Cherries to Apples.

The taste is crisper - it’s creamy but not sickly or claggy. I feel better about buying a paper wrapper rather than plastic, also the fair trade aspect makes me feel ethically smug.
