Obela Dip Basil Pesto, Pecorino & Cashews

These are great for a quick easy snack with the kids after school

Fortunate to receive a complementary voucher in my welcome to Black Box power box. I have tried a similar product using parmesan cheese. The pecorino cheese in the dip made this product stand alone. Very delish with crackers, could see it being used in pasta and as an alternative topping to homemade garlic bread or pizzas. Would be nice if the shelf life was more than three days once opened.

Loved it, such a beautiful fresh flavour. Very versatile and can be used in many ways, my favourite is just simply as part of a sharing platter or mixed through hot pasta with some extra cheese. Would like the tubs to be a little bigger for pasta though as 1 container doesn’t cater to 4 people - unless my family are just too greedy 😂

This pesto is awesome! The pack size is large so it's good for using as a pasta sauce when doing a family meal, or it goes a long way when entertaining and for sandwiches and burgers etc. The texture is nice with enough chunks to keep it from being puree, and the cheese isn't overpowering. Definitely recommend

OMG the taste is Devine, so much flavour and so authentic! I love the versatility of this product, not only do I use it as a dip I use it as a stir through for pasta, I also add mayonnaise and it turns into a dressing, there are so many options. Best dip in town at the best price!

This is delicious with crackers etc but using it to make pesto chicken fillets is the bomb. Mixed with cream and Obela basil pesto, pecorino and cashews , the chicken is amazing.

Just fabulous. One of the few basil pestos out there that are genuine. The basil flavor just jumps at you. Who doesn't love basil? I use it not as a dip but as a sauce to enhance anything, especially pasta (save some of the liquid when you boil the pasta). Prise up the flap and there you have it. Readymade sauce! Saves me the at least thirty minutes to an hour of having to whizzing up a sauce for pasta. And the pecorino and cashews! They are a delight. Mmmm! I buy it again and again.

We used the basil pesto as a base in our pasta dish, and it significantly lifted the quality of the dish. Normally we would use a generic pesto, but I am not sure what was different in this pesto, but it just seemed much taster and of a higher quality overall!
