Edmonds Blitz Balls – Date & Cocoa

All store bought brands are too sweet. I would consider purchasing the packet and then bulking out with other ingredients to make more less sweet balls

all the little ready made packs of bliss/blitz balls that i have seen contain nuts and are pricey, these Edmonds Blitz Balls are amazing, they're easy to make, delicious and good value for money and best of all my son with allergies can eat them. we even brought the other 2 flavors in the range and love them all but the apricot and coconut is our favorite.

Although i love the convenience of made ones love Tom and Lukes as they have different portions I enjoyed making these and would do it again. Could they make a Gluten free version?? Would be great as my Daughter loves Bliss Balls but couldnt try them

Although my 7yo enjoyed this product, I didn't really. It might have been nicer if I had've used runny honey instead of clover honey, but it is too expensive to buy. Very easy to make though

could not get the texture right to be able to form balls, so I pressed into a tin. it still crumbled so we ate it with a teaspoon. the flavour was nice.

I definitely really liked these and great for lunch boxes fillers but still a wee bit high in sugar for me if I was looking for a true raw treat. But still great for a back up and as I say the kids and hubby.

I did not like the flavour, the oats and sunflower seeds totally overpowered everything else. Plus they were a pain to make, the instructions were incorrect, it required water to be added to the mix for them to hold together, the first few completely broke apart while I rolled them. Since they are about the same price as a tub of already prepared ones it's not worth the effort

I found this product very annoying. A bliss ball by definition almost never contains wheat or oat products. It is supposed to be made from fruit and nuts and little else. The fact it was primarily oat and wheat annoyed me so did getting the blender out to make something I don't identify with as being a healthy product. All in all, I think this is a terrible idea and true bill ball consumers will as well.

I have only really purchased bliss ball in the past as a quick “healthier” snack. Although if I was to make them at home I would be more inclined to get the ingredients myself to ensure the most natural product. However I would still recommend to people who aren’t as keen to put in the extra effort and still want a healthier alternative

I like bliss balls. This mix was way to sweet.

I like having these in the fridge as they are a great snack, good for a nibble with a coffee or for lunch boxes. It is hard to say if I will buy again or go with the convenience of the ready made. I will however give the coconut and apricot flavour a try as this is more my flavour preference.

I was excited to try this product as I cook for the elderly but sadly it didnt live up to what i expected they did not turn out like the picture on the box i did exactly what the instructions said to do but the didnt seem to bind very well and for what i got they seem a wee bit expensive

I was pleasantly surprised with how well the bliss balls rolled, the ingredient list and the texture. The kids enjoyed them too. I liked that there was much less sugar in them compared to the other bliss balls on the market. I will buy these in teh future and am pleased I got to sample them because I would not purchase this product in the store. Mostly because I feel that if I have to roll the bliss balls, I may as well make my own from scratch

I’ve an easy recipe that makes great and yummy coconut bliz balls.

I’ve never been a fan of bliss balls only once did I really enjoy some that a friend made. I was keen to give these a go as I like Edmonds products and they were ok but we weren’t sold on them. It was possibly the bush blend honey I used that made them taste quite strong!?

I’ve tried many bliss balls, trying to convince the kids they’re good. We all enjoyed making these, but sadly I’m the only one eating them. As a result I probably wouldn’t buy - unless maybe I was making snack food for a gathering.

It would be better if you didn’t have to use a blender. This could be done before packaging and then we’d just need to add honey and oil. I found that the blender didn’t process the sunflower seeds enough and this made them difficult to roll. I’m not sure what they retail for this information would be helpful when answering questions about if I would buy them or not.

Its such an easy thing to make, that I'm disappointed that we are now packaging it (not environmentally friendly!) and dumbing people into making things out of a packet. They are so easy to make that Edmonds should be putting out recipes, NOT packaged stuff. We are not Americans and are quite able to make these things from scratch!

Not keen on the dates flavour

not my thing they were ok ish but the kids liked making them with me so that was good but they only wanted to eat 1 each so didn't really tick the kid box and i didnt really like them and when offered to friends and family they also only grabed 1 each so just not right or just not the type of stuff or family is used to.

Our entire family actually don't like bliss balls! I do home baking which everyone prefers

People at work liked them but not sweet enough for our family

Pleasantly surprised. Kids loved them and the fact they had no nuts was a huge benefit as they are perfect for the lunch box

The balls didn't hold together well but made a nice slice

The bliss balls would not stick together and were very difficult to eat. When we did get a spoonful of the mix into our mouths the taste was yummy, just too hard to create. We prefer them ready made

The chocolate is sweet, so balance out the entire product, but I am not really enjoy the over all taste

The Edmonds Blitz Balls were tasty, but whether I'd get them again would depend a lot on price; if they cost the same as ready-made, clean-ingredient ones, I'd just get the others and save the whole blitzing process.

The flavour was nice but the product just didn’t work out for us. I ended up adding extra ingredients and chilling mix to be able to form into balls, it was just so crumbly and wouldn’t hold at all

The girls loved making these, and they were really easy to make! And because we were able to make them, they had a much better and fresher taste than the ones that we have purchased before that are pre made, so a win for us! Will buy again!

The honey made these far too sweet. When I make my own I don't use any sweetners (simply rely on the fruit to do that)

The kids said they melted a bit in their lunchbox, will try different oil (used coconut)

The mix was a little dry after following the instructions. I needed up having to add more oil in order for the mix to be wet enough to roll into a ball. They were delish though! A great healthy alternative for those who don't like to bake much. Would be great if advertised as a lunchbox snack as there we super easy and much better option than a sugar filled muesli bar.

The sugar content is too high for me but it provides something a bit different for kids' school lunches

These a great healthy snack and the kids LOVED them. I prefer to make my own as way more economical than 15 balls for $5
