Amazingly good! Even my young kids loved it - although they had plenty of water to wash down the spiciness. Loved the combination of jalapeno with the hummus and loved the kick from the spiciness. Would definitely purchase again!

It has a lovely texture, but there are a lot of kiwi brands in this market and I'd prefer to support kiwi companies and brands rather than global brands.

It not a fan of jalapeño, so wont but this one again but I still like their other products.

It was a great size, and in another flavour probably would of worked well, but the jalapenos made it too hot. We like heat but this was too much, it also meant the kids couldn't enjoy the same dips as the adults.

Allergic to tahini so make my own hummus however I shared with mums group and they lived the flavour and texture. One commented it was delicious but that she would prefer a roasted flavour.

As soon as I received my black box, I peeled and cut up some carrots. A friend was visiting so was a great snack to bring out. We both thoroughly enjoyed this. The texture was really nice and smooth and I loved the pine nuts giving another texture.

Did not like this product at all. While hummus is made of chickpeas, its not a pleasant taste and usually disguised by lemon, spices or garlic. This needed WAY more flavour. The texture was too smooth too, almost like pate. Would not buy again.

I can't eat this as I'm pregnant but my husband and 3 year old son had this and enjoyed it a lot. My son had it with carrot sticks and my husband had it as a spread on a pita with the Waitoa sliced chicken that also came in the pack (with spinach/cheese/grated carrot) and he really enjoyed it.

I have purchased this twice before and I really want to like it as I've always purchased Lisa's hummus and love that one - but the texture in Obela Hummus isn't right, it's too smooth, it reminds me of eating pate. The flavour isn't quite right either, too lemony perhaps, but I think the texture and the pine nuts being a bit soft really let it down. Lisa's hummus is so much better, and the nuts are packaged seperately so they don't go soft, very important with hummus!

I havent picked it up in the past as the packaging hasn't drawn me in so I'm a bit of a creature of habit for this sort of product. This was nice so I might trial some different ones now as well.

I just loved the little bit of flavour pop on the top of the hommus!, just lovely with salad, as a dip, with rice, or as a spread in pitas or wraps!!!!

I just prefer our normal hummus

I like just the plain Obela Hummus to be honest. The one with the pine nuts was blah and I would not bother buying it again. I also love the big Obela pack you can buy.

I liked the hummus, I prefer Lisa’s plan garlic for an “everyday” hummus, but would use this as a dip alternative or for entertaining.

I liked the pinenut one but my husband who eats the most hummus didnt like the texture and flavour compared to the Lisa's or Turkish kitchen hummus.

I really don't like the texture of Obela. I bought a big pt of it a while ago, 1kg? I had to throw it out, so sorry. It's almost blended too much. Needs more seasoning and lemon.

I really enjoyed it. The only reason I havent purchased hummus recently is that I was pregnant and advised not to eat products containing tahini.

I really wanted to like this as I absolutely love hommus and eat it quite regularly either store bought or made at home. I found the texture of this unpleasant. I think it was too tacky for me. The flavour was ok. Would have liked to try the jalapeno but the pine nuts were tasty.

I would love a hummus that was made with olive oil rather than vegetable oils. I like to make my own hummus as it is less processed and I don’t like using vegetable oils because they aren’t good for you. I’d love to see a company make a traditional hummus using all natural ingredients! Chick peas, tahini, olive oil and seasoning

If it wasn’t packaged in plastic i would buy over other brands.

Initial review: The pine nut dip we received wasn't a flavor combination I really liked. I felt like it lacked something, either more spice or punch. The jalapeno dip possibly would be more interesting to my palette. Update Review 2 days later: tasted better once opened and eaten two days later. I enjoyed it more after opened for two days surprisingly.

Iove my hummas with crackers or carrots. Obela was so yummu with the pine nuts added that something extra!

It also had a very strong capsicum flavour - this was liked by some but not all. I like the smoothness and the pile of pinenuts in the middle.

It had smoother texture and stronger flavour of tahini than other brands. I didn't need to use as much it lasted longer.

It was nice to try the pine nut version but I still prefer the Lisa’s toppings hummus. We had also tried the Obela zesty jalapeño nut it was too spicy for me. My husband likes spicy things but he said he would prefer Lisa’s toppings which we usually buy. We both agreed Lisa’s was a bit creamier with better flavour

It was way much better than having just hummus as the roasted pine nuts goes really well with the hummus. Good for spread and even to eat it with a spoon. Thank you for sample, i now found a great hummus for my meals.

Its an all time favorite
