As there is only yes or no answers I had to put no to would i buy them again and would i recommend them.. the truth is yes I would buy them only if they were on a good special, the reason for that is that they are not what they use to be, they are nearly half the size smaller, and we can't do the games we use to play with them.. so they are now just a biscuit.. they are too thin to do much, and only 9 in a pack.. we feel they are not worth what they are.. in saying that, out of the new Tim Tams, I really liked the malt ones..

Ate the biscuits after dinner as a treat, didn't feel like doing a slam at 9pm. Found the biscuits chewy and a bit tasteless - maybe they wouldn't be if slammed. Prefer normal Tim Tams than the slams

CHOCOLATE

Chocolate biscuits are a special treat item so we don’t buy them often and if we do we prefer to buy dark chocolate variety.

Every time I receive Tim Tam samples to try I just don’t like them. Couldn’t put my finger on it until now... it’s the Chocolate. Tastes terrible, if the taste was better then I think it would compliment the other flavours

I couldn't really taste the hazelnut. It tasted very much like the standard gooey caramel Tim Tam. I personally don't eat alot of biscuits and try not to have them in the house to lessen my sons sugar intake. If there is a packet of biscuits, he'll eat the lot in 2 days!

I didn't quite get the 'slam' part to be honest. I didn't want the kids to try it either in case the drink was too hot coming through the biscuit and it just sounded like it could get quite messy. It was a nice biscuit to eat normally though.

I have always loved Tim Tams and do these were a great addition

I have been doing the tim tam slam for years (though have never called it that) It was great fun taking our black box tim tams to Ireland and teaching the Irish family how to do it! The only mistake was not taking a second packet. I would like to try Chocolate malt and sticky caramel. Timtams are a family staple and the new flavours are popular in our house, however I think the plain TimTams are better for "slamming" than the flavoured ones.

I have only had Tim Tam original - loved the caramel addition, would definitely buy again. Did not try the 'Slam' part of it - not fond of wet biscuit, but they are awsome dry anyway!

I honestly did not like the Caramel Hazelnut biscuit we recieved in the Black Box but we had purchased the Dark Chocolate and Raspberry ones which we just loved.

I LOVE tim tam slams, they are one of my favorite treets so I was so excited to rtry this out - but myself and my familly where thoroughly dissapointed...the caramel stayed hard, it didn't melt in the mouth as a slam is meant too!

I put these in the fridge (which I usually do with open choc biscuits) and the caramel was very solid and chewy, maybe because it was for having with hot drink? Anyway, not gooey caramel.

I'm not a huge chocolate fan, so must admit really only tried the Tim Tams because they were in the black box, but I actually really liked them. Hazelnut wouldn't be my normal go to flavour either, but again I really liked it which actually really surprised me. They certainly wont be a weekly buy, but I'm quite tempted try the raspberry Tim Tams now.

My family does Tim tam slams all the time, and we always teach our overseas visitors to do them too. It was one of the first things we learnt when we came to NZ

Regular Tim Tams taste better that Slams for regular eating

So delicious! I was introduced to the TimTam Slam a while back but was reminded with the recent marketing of Tim Tam Slam. Now we have the kidszand the grandparents hooked. I enjoyed the chewyness of the caramel biscuit centre and love the hazelnut chocolate taste. We are also impressed with the malt flavour. A bit of a flash back to our childhoods.

So funny trying to slam the tim tam...had to try a few times...such a shame. Lol

They are nice biscuits. Glad I read the packet instructions about slamming as they are much nicer when they are slammed in a hot drink. Doing that is what makes them different from any other chocolate biscuit. I really enjoyed eating them when the middle of the biscuit softened/melted. Biscuit did start to melt in my drink though. I would buy them again for a special treat.

Unfortunately, due to a recent medical problem, I can no longer eat dairy, so all dairy products in my black box went to my son and daughter in law. She loved the Tim Tam slams and said she would buy them again.

We don't purchase biscuits for home. Very occasionally for special occasions; guests coming over, camping trip or shared lunch. I do however have family from America and they love Tim Tams. At Christmas time we send home kiwi treats, I will send these flavors of Tim Tams this year.

We got the hazelnut and caramel flavour. Not a strong flavour of hazelnuts, predominantly caramel and chocolate, which worked for us as we aren’t keen on hazelnuts

We grew up doing this with timtams, it's cool that they've made biscuits with this in mind! They definitely work well to suck up the (not too hot) coffee.

We love our Original Tim Yams but not so wild on this sample

We love Tim Tams in our house, the Hazelnut ones were deliscious and will def be purchased again

We loved the flavour combos. The Tim Tams didn't last long in our house!!

We personally weren't keen on the type we got, but do like some of their other flavours

We prefer the plain Tim Tams (caramel, double chocolate) as opposed to the Slams

We received the hazelnut brand, which was OK. Bought dark choc sicky raspberry and love them, thank you

We used to suck coffee through tim tams when I was in my early 20's. I'll be 47 this year.

We will try the other flavors next

Were disappointingly dry unfortunately.

What a nice upgrade to the standard Tim Tam - We have also bought the dark chocolate and raspberry ones to try as well

Will definitely purchase and try other flavours

All 3 of us that tried this biscuit hated the flavour. Not a fan at all. We love regular and white tim tams but these were yuck.

Although we don't consume chocolate biscuits, we do have friends I would recommend these too (especially our friends in the USA who love Tim Tams)

Am basing response by family’s reactions as I am gluten intolerant

Am very interested in trying the berry flavour one - we'd probably purchase just for that reason.

As a treat these were pretty good. I don't eat biscuits at all but did enjoy these very much and savoured every bite!

At first the malt was overpowering but then it was quite enjoyable

Ate them from the fridge...the centre was too hard. Prefer the original tim tam variety.

Being the school holiday my Grandchildren ate most of them as bite,sip, slams but will buy another packet and try them that way after the holidays

Biscuits in our house don't last very long as there is 8 in our house and most love chocolate and trying new flavours

Bought 3 packets of the malt/caramel after getting my black box sample. Malt is fantastic.

Bought the raspberry ones after trying black box malt and they are the best

Choc Malt & Sticky Caramel definitely not a favorite... personally didn't like the flavour, wouldn't purchase them again

CHOC MALT & STICKY CARAMEL were rather unpleasant taste wise, had family staying and nobody liked this flavour, kids or adults

Choc Malt was gross. Even my kids didn't like.

Currently doing Weight Watchers - but did sample a TimTam - did not try the straw idea but did wonder how that would work with gooey bit in middle - flavour was good

Definitely a good way to eat a chocolate biscuit with coffee
