A nice pale ale that isn't too craft-beer tasting

just didn't really like the taste so much

Im not a beer drinker however my flatmate is and loves craft beer. Sadly he rated this low by comparison to his favourites. It didnt quite hit the mark for him, but still an ok drop he said.

Great NZ west coast beer. Helps put Greymouth on the map. The spade on the bottle makes it special, for those that drink from the bottle. Beer tasted good.

Very reasonable pale ale, and enjoyed the taste. Would consider getting it on odd occasions. Good choice in a mix of brands and styles for those summer parties.

Was a nice beer, to go with a pizza and chips dinner.

This is a beautiful light summer beer. My husband really enjoyed it. His only complaint was that it wasn't big enough. He could have most definitely gone another one :)

I found this to be very sharp in flavour, with a hint of citrus which isn't to my liking but on a hot summers day after a hard day out in the garden could see this hitting the spot x

A favourite of mine, love the full hoppy flavour and dark straw colour.

Was an average one for me, bonus was it didn't bloat me like some beers can but I couldn't drink more than a bottle as I wasn't a fan of the aftertaste.

Not as 'zesty' as the box led me to believe, I was expecting more citrus flavor with that descriptor. Otherwise a pretty nice crisp beer, good for a hot afternoon. A little heavy on the hops for my tastes but would probably drink again.

For a cheaper alternative to boutique craft beers, I enjoyed this. Had a good hoppy kick to it, which some other commercial pale ales do not.

Hubby tried this one as he’s the pale ale drinker in this house. He is a Monteiths fan, and said this was ok, but not as good as his usual (the Pointer or Patriot) and wouldn’t buy.

A very nice beer. Similar to others I buy without the sweetness and a bit more hop flavour. It was lovely after a busy day wrangling kids, home schooling, working and making snacks. Perfect with a bowl of chips and a quiet spot!

My husband said it was ok. But probley wouldn't buy again he is more of a mainstream beer drinker

Yes Yes Yes! I have been waiting for something semi comparable to the "Summer" with the zest but not so sweet. Easy drinking Pale Ale. Love the name and the label too.
