I have never tried a cheese with onions before... And I had a great surprise about this Cheese, I believe the Red Onion really matches flavor with Cheddar.. It was delicious!

If you don’t like onions, you won’t like this. I like onions so I loved it and thought it was super tasty. I melted it on top of pizzas and it tasted delicious. Less pungent when cooked.

This cheese was amazing - I can't recommend it enough! I'm a huge cheddar fan so I love a strong flavour, and the addition of the red onion gave a sweet yet nutty flavour to the cheese that was very more-ish. So good you can eat it by itself without a cracker or pairing.

My whole household enjoyed it as an extra toasted sandwich filling.

Crackers and cheese, anyone? So, I’m a big cheese fan, would actually call myself a cheese connoisseur ;). Had this one with crackers, a toasted egg sandwich, and burgers. I personally enjoyed it so much that I ended up eating it as is. Not a favorite with the little ones, but definitely something I’ll add to my cheese platters!

This cheese is rely yum, super crumbly which is great in salads, has a good tang which makes it great for a on the cracker snack, kts also easy to grate on top of pasta.

This is so versatile having the onion flavour already in the cheese without those watery eyes when cutting up onions. Great for savoury scones, toasties, potato topping etc.

This cheese had a very intense onion flavour which I loved but the children didn't. the texture of the cheese was true to a cheddar texture - firm and slightly crumbly as it aged. Do have to be careful storing it in the fridge so the flavour doesn't taint other foods. the price of Castello cheeses does put it out of our family budget unless on special or buying for a special occasion.

As a feature cheese in a cheese board this was amazing! I also used it very sparingly in dishes ( lightly sprinkled over scrambled eggs was amazing) due to the strong flavour you need to be careful in how you use it as it’s not as versatile as standard cheddar but it was so good
